This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 8th day of October, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [538].

1. GC: You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these dreams, as I read same to you.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [538]. The dreams, visions, come to the entity through those subconscious forces as have been given, and may be used in the way and manner, and are for the edification of the entity, will if same will be applied in the material life. Ready for dream.

3. (Q) October 8, 1926, dream regarding [900] visiting us and wanting us to move into a small place of two or three very small rooms of a cottage belonging to someone else, of me getting mad or hurt and crying. (A) In this there are presented conditions, as it were, of a forecast of conditions as will arise, and, as has been seen in dreams that have been experienced by the entity. These are, as it were, contrary-wise by comparison. In visit, in the understanding there will be presented conditions that will be unsatisfactory, yes. There will be presented conditions that will be more than satisfactory, yes. Then the use of the knowledge as is gained through such dreams may be applied in the life of the entity in such a way and manner as being forewarned, be forearmed - and in the changes as are to be made, or in that lack of the change as is felt that should be considered, do not allow the feelings to be hurt in such a way and manner as to present such a condition as cutting off the nose to spite the face, see? [GD’s note: On 6/31, Mrs. [538] and her family were evicted by Mr. [900] and were for a time crowded into very small quarters.]

4. (Q) Two dreams had recently of being at Hopkinsville, the first one of being at home, of falling from roof, etc. (A) This presenting as is seen, those conditions that will come in the life, as finding disappointments, as it were, in individuals connected with the home, see? [GD’s note: In 1933-34 Mrs. [538] found disappointments and suffered via individuals [295] & [288] with whom she shared her home.]

5. (Q) The second one being of at Mrs. [3776]‘s, of [243] showing me through the house, and especially noticing the white curtains at all the windows, then the going thru underground passage - (A) Someone to be buried here, you see, soon.

6. (Q) (Continuing) of water coming in and me trying to - (A) Life the water, you see, representing the individual, or the liberating from the physical body to the spiritual plane - returning again to the first element.

7. (Q) (Continuing) of me trying to help get the children to - (A) Returning again to a child, see?

8. (Q) (Continuing) of seeing a tank of some explosive and feeling afraid of same. (A) Afraid of death, yet, as is seen through the escape from same - that it is as the Beginning.

9. We are through for the present.
