This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 22nd day of July, 1944, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. […], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by [5125] and work in the office of the Ass”n.

Time of Reading Set bet. 3:30 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern War Time. Va. Beach, Va.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here; [5387].

3. As we find, while conditions physical and mental are very good through the body; there are those tendencies and inclinations that may be corrected now which may bring a much nearer normal activity and thus relieve the body of a great deal of distress at times.

4. As we find, there has been for some time back a subluxation which exists in the lumbar, the sacral and in the lower portion of the 9th dorsal. These suppressions to nerve energies and the effect which is induced upon the activity of the organs of the pelvis, and to those reflexes through same at the actions in the glandular forces, cause headaches, cause backaches, cause the disturbance through the body. Unless these are corrected, there would not be the chance for pregnancy. These are the causes of the womb being tilted to the side and those cause the suppressions in the periods to the activities of the organs of body.

5. Through first at least ten to twelve osteopathic manipulations, which will make for the corrections and coordinating of the centers in the cervical and through the brachial center with those corrections made in lumbar, sacral and in the 9th dorsal, we will relieve these tensions and will make for those corrections which will prevent a great deal of distress later for this body.

6. After there has been about twelve adjustments, rest a period and use, during those periods, at least once each week - save at the menstrual periods - the douches of Glyco-Thymoline which would be in the proportion of a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline to a quart of body-temperature water. Use only the Fountain Syringe.

7. Then, after a month, have at least five to six more adjustments and we will be relieved of these distresses.

8. There are those tensions also, which will be aided, in the digestive forces of the body, making better coordination between the liver and kidneys. But these will be naturally aided by making the adjustments which have been indicated. Do that!

9. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) After course of treatments have been accomplished is it indicated that I will be able to become pregnant? (A) What do you think you’ve been given it for?

I hope to be able to do so at some time in the near future, and upon doing so, I shall keep in touch with you to let you know the results - which will be successful, I hope.”
