This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 25th day of August, 1944, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [5399], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by the article in Coronet.

Time of Reading Set bet. 3:30 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern War Time. Ogden, Utah.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5399].

3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions which prevent the better physical functioning of the body. The purely physical arise from one disturbance - and that which may be prevented by the activities in the physical towards creating in itself, another.

4. These, then, are the sources of disturbances. As we find, in times back, there has been a very disturbing reaction from flu, causing a congestion in the liver and its relationship to the central circulation that is still affecting the body, causing the disorders which arise from poor eliminations, upsetting in part the circulation in heart, liver, lungs, and kidneys.

5. Thus, we have times when apparently colds are easily developed, trouble arises with the throat and bronchi from a very full lung circulation. The kidneys at times give rise to scant - and others very profuse activity. These are portions of the disturbances to be met.

6. Then, we have a suppression in the activity of the position of the organs in pelvis. These have prevented conception. All of these, as we find may be brought to near normal activity if taken in time.

7. In making administrations, first we would begin with the use of Castor Oil each week, for three to five weeks - Castor Oil Packs. Use three to four thicknesses of flannel saturated with the Castor Oil, then apply to the body, preparing these so as to prevent soiling of linen, and then apply heat electric pad, for an hour. Then sponge off the area with a weak soda water solution. Do this each day for three days, and choose the same three days each week. After the third day, or after each three-day series of these - take internally two tablespoonsful of Olive Oil.

8. Then, after the fourth or fifth series do have a high colonic irrigation.

9. Then begin with a good osteopath who will give the treatments for the correcting of a subluxation which exists in the sixth dorsal. Also, during this series of six to eight treatments for this particular portion of the disturbance, let these be for improving the gall duct and the gall bladder. Also, let the treatments from the osteopath include the correction of the position of the womb, by those corrections in the cerebrospinal system in the 11th and 12th dorsal, the 9th dorsal, and through the lumbar and sacral area. These will make it unnecessary for operative measures, will correct those disturbances which have been a part of the experience in the metabolism of the body-forces, will make it possible for the activities of a normal conception, if such is desired.

10. Do this if we would bring the better conditions for this body.

12. (Q) Should I avoid eggs? (A) This depends upon supply of other elements. There are some elements in eggs not found in other foods, ordinarily - sulphur. The whites, - however, do occasionally cause certain other elements to be bad for the body. These we would take occasionally, not necessarily avoiding same.

13. (Q) Do I need any meat, since I drink so much milk? (A) Not necessarily, if you are that minded. But remember, it is what comes out - not what you take in - that defiles the body.

14. (Q) Did I get rid of the flu germ which has seemed to remain in my system? (A) If we had, we wouldn’t disturb this liver so! This is the cause of the disturbances in the liver, with the activity of the gall duct and its relationship with the lacteal duct in the larger portion of the area. Do as given.
