This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of December, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [5453].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 9:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Florida.

  1. GD: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [5453], of Room …, … Hotel, …, Florida, and you will give a physical and mental reading on this body, and you will give any other information to him that will assist him at this time. You will answer any questions which I might ask you regarding same.

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see.

  3. Now, we find the physical conditions in this body are somewhat different from those we have had here before. There is a great deal more of a strain on the vital forces of the body through the nerve actions of the system, and there is much need of the body gaining its normal outlook on the material, the mental and the physical forces in life, and in the general conditions as regarding same.

  4. In the physical forces as are deficient, we find, as given, these refer more directly to the mental and the nerve strain in the body, and with rest and with ease of mind there would come more of that vitality necessary to bring the proper recuperation to the physical forces of the body, for the constitutional conditions of same are not broken down as yet, so that we have any physical defects, save as that as is produced in the strain in the vital portion of the throat and eyes, as give trouble at present, see? and all these, as we find, would be overcome through this gaining of the mental forces to their nearer normal equilibrium, in the way that gives the inducive forces to make the best of conditions as they exist. Not with condemnation, then, to anyone, and LEAST OF ALL with condemnation of self, for, as we find, there are conditions being set in motion, by those whom the body has contacted and is contacting, to be made of assistance to the entity in the conditions as are present at this time, and with this change in self toward the attitude as is assuming, we will find this will bring to the entity the better hold on self, and then, THROUGH this, be able to accomplish even that which seems to be unable to be accomplished at the present time, see?

  5. Then, see these three people who have promised to be of aid, and through this effort there will come others that will gradually bring about that condition which will be of help. Do that, see?

  6. (Q) Any other information that will assist this body at the present time? (A) Act on this that’s given first, see? First, gain control of self, see? Put the trust in HIM, and in same KNOW there comes to the body that strength that is not withheld when the trust is put in HIM. Then, with that purpose as is set through such, the entity will be able to accomplish many things, see? and will be brought into contact with those that will be of help, for we will find contacting AGAIN with the Forces through which the entity should gain, and should keep in direct contact with.

  7. We are through for the present.
