This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 25th day of August, 1930, in accordance with request made by those in charge.

Time of Reading Cayce Hospital Annex, 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Virginia Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5457] - this we have had before. Conditions, as we find, are on the improve with this body. While they are, naturally, as has been indicated, of a slow nature. There should be, in the next week or ten days treatment - before the rest - more of the attempt to apply treatments as aid in the formations of the palate and of the roof of mouth; so that the circulation as comes to this PORTION of the system has the opportunity to set up its proper reaction. This will aid materially in the activities of the whole of the SENSORY system, as to speech - or enunciation, to hearing, and to the eyes. These all will be aided by this. These, as understood, will be accomplished in time. Do not attempt to RUSH the condition, but this should be begun - especially in the next week or ten days treatment. Ready for questions.

2. (Q) Is body responding to treatment as rapidly as could be expected? (A) Responding WONDERFULLY to the treatments.

3. (Q) How should treatments to roof of mouth be applied? (A) The conditions as exists in the cervical regions is the source, to be sure, and - to be sure - there should be the expansion of the roof of mouth BY manipulation or massage, so that the DEVELOPMENT of same expands same. Not to GAG the body, to be sure - but that response as will come from same will materially aid, especially through the nasal, through the eyes, and through the enunciation or speech.

4. (Q) Can manipulations be properly applied by chiropractor? (A) Not much!

5. (Q) Are all treatments given properly at present? (A) These are VERY, very, good. The changes as outlined are all that we would alter.

6. (Q) Is diet correct? (A) So long as the digestion is good, the system should be kept as has been given - on a well BALANCED diet, so that the general DEVELOPMENT of the body is kept near normal. We are through with this reading.
