This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 7th day of July, 1930, in accordance with request made by self and those in charge.

Time of Reading Cayce Hospital, 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Virginia Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: We have the body here - this we have had before. In many ways the general PHYSICAL conditions show the improvements. In those conditions as have to do with the coordination between the sympathetic and cerebro-spinal, as has been given, this is the greater distress - and there have arisen some conditions that have become as a set-back, yet the physical BODY, the MENTAL being, may respond to those suggestions as come THROUGH the manipulations and regular treatments for the system, will the body but HOLD that mentally of the necessary coordination between the physical forces of the body, the pulsations and impulses of the physical forces as related to the nervous system. These, as we find, would bring about the faster reactions, and the nearer coming back to that condition as has been seen, and has been carrying on in the physical forces of the body. In those conditions as have to do with the building up of the blood supply, except in the last few days, we would find a nearer normalcy in the pressures, the distribution, and in the reactions through the system. Ready for questions.

2. (Q) What is condition of prostate? Give treatment? (A) This, we find, would respond to that of the injections that will care for the eliminations and the repression of that pressure produced by the swelling or inflammation in same.

3. (Q) What is cause of pain in lumbar area and down side of legs? (A) More of a mental reaction, while the pain as severe as of pressure - but the prevention of incoordination, and the pressure as experienced through the lumbar - these are the causes. The relaxation of same through applied heat, or through that of the manipulation, and of the body resting, off of feet - these will make for responses quicker than any other measures.

4. (Q) How long before body will be able to go home? (A) That will depend upon the responses of the mental and the physical forces, one with another. As we would find, in two weeks, to three weeks, the conditions should be brought back to that of the normal, or bettered conditions in the body.

5. (Q) Are all treatments given properly? (A) That would depend upon the viewpoints of the applications. As far as the manipulations, as far as the vibratory forces set in system - these [are] good. As for the responses to the mental AND the physical, these are not - as has been given - WHOLLY in accord; yet BETTERED than when we LAST had same.

6. (Q) What would you advise for injection of prostate? (A) We would first have the full evacuation of the colon, either through colonic or through high enemas. Then we would use that of the oil, with that of the laudanum in same. Let the oil be warm, not hot - but warmed.

7. (Q) How often should sand packs be given? (A) Dependent upon the weather and upon the reactions of the body to same. Not when the sands are damp or wet, are they well for the body.

8. That is all the questions regarding this body.
