EC: We have the body here, [5479]. Now, we find there are many abnormal conditions in the physical forces of the body. Unless there be material change, little may be done to bring the perfectly normal condition for this body; yet we find the application of properties would aid in easing, and WILL the response for the body - through the mental forces of those depended upon by the body - aid in their spiritual supplications, these may add to the days, and the physical may respond in so far as the TRUTH is held by those whom the body depends upon.
-
In the conditions, we find incoordination - from that of the digitalin, and from the incoordination of brain with that of the physical body, as WELL as those of the character where the strain from the exterior forces produced, through that of the NATURE - not in fact; in NATURE of an erysipelas condition.
-
These, as we find, are the distresses.
-
In the applications, then, as we would find, would be in those in the medicinal nature of small quantities of Syrup of Squill, given 5 to 7 drops twice each day. This as a cardiac stimuli.
-
Also we would give, for the nerve reaction in the system, those as would be combined in this:
-
To 2 ounces of simple syrup, add:
Tincture Valerian…1/2 ounce, Elixir Calisaya…1/2 ounce, Tincture of Stillingia…1/4 ounce, Syrup of Sassafras, or that of Celerena…20 minims, Tincture Capsici…2 minims.
The dose, with this, would be half a teaspoonful in water of evenings, for rest - or when the body is restless during the evening, or night.
-
For aiding in coordination, we would add those of the vibrations from the Radio-Active Appliance as carries GOLD with same, applying same to the 1st and 2nd cervical. Then, that anode WITH which the medicinal properties are carried, to the umbilicus.
-
The gentle massage each evening and morning will aid, also, in creating an equilibrium.
-
The applications will be made with that sincere desire as MAY be expressed in EARNEST SEEKING for knowledge and light.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Where should the attachments be made? (A) As given, 1st and 2nd cervical - the smaller anode. The larger, or negative, carrying the medicinal properties, or Gold, to the umbilicus plexus - that’s just above and to the right.
-
We are through for the present.

Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 6/28/30 Father’s letter: ”…Your letter of June 20 with the reading for my daughter received. Please accept my thanks for same. I am writing today to Dr. Lyman A. Lydic for detailed instruction, and I will write to you again a little later.”
R2. 7/1/30 Dr. Lydic’s letter: ”…In reply to your letter of June 28, I wish to advise you that you may purchase one ounce of syrup of squill and give as directed in small amount of water.
“I will fill out the other prescription and have it forwarded to you. I will also have the radio-active appliance made up and sent to you within the next week, with full instructions for operating it. You will receive them both within a few days. You may employ a nurse to give the massage…”
R3. 7/21/30 Letter: ”…I beg to inform you that I have received the medicine and also the radio-active appliance with instruction. Thanks for all. I will keep them all, in case we have to use them.
“About three weeks before the reading we decided to give up doctors and medicines and we have turned entirely to God for help, therefore, we did not use anything yet of what you have sent us, and we hope we will get the help without them.
“I am enclosing here a check for $50.00 which you may kindly use as a donation for your hospital, and much obliged…”
R4. 7/25/30 EC’s letter to [5479]‘s father: “I am in receipt of yours of the 21st, enclosing your check for $50 as a contribution, for which please accept my personal and the Association’s thanks. This will enable us to try to be of help to someone who is not fortunate enough to be able to pay for their readings.
“You will gain strength and aid, I am sure, from your attitude - for it all must come from Him. It is in Him we live, and move, and have our being.
“Our information seems to be, Mr. […] that the applications given in medicinal or mechanical appliances are all a part of His scheme of things, that we may gain the greater understanding. Please do not think from this that I am trying to discount your whole belief in God, for if we are able to raise our consciousness to the extent that we can feel His presence, all others are unnecessary - but so often we are much as the people of old, feeling it necessary that we come into His presence, in the holy of holies, with our offerings, and with the consecration of our lives and ourselves, with these material things that ASSIST our mental being to gain the proper balance. So much the greater, though, IS our glory if we are able to hold that consciousness without these things; for He is truly a LIVING God, and one that does not have to be called from a distance. It is as was said of old, ‘It isn’t as to who will go into heaven to bring him down, or who will descend into the depths to bring him up, for he is within thine own heart’ - but there is set before us good and evil ‘Choose thou!’
“I certainly do hope that these will be unnecessary. Please understand that, through all of this, these conditions, these things that are given, are to make that aid necessary to awaken the divine within; for the kingdom of heaven is within you.
“Many thanks again for the check. May God bless you.”

B1. 4/30 Father’s letter: ”…I wish to have a reading about our child who is a 10 year old girl, and gives us very much trouble. Please let me know your intention as soon as possible and oblige.”
B2. 4/29/30 Father’s letter in answer to introductory data sent: ”…I have read the rules, regulations, and by-laws of your Association and I am enclosing here my check with application for membership with the hope that you will give me an early appointment. I am sorry to say that I am unable to go to Virginia Beach as I cannot leave our home for any longer than 2 to 3 hours on account of our daughter’s illness; therefore, as I have confidence in you, I am asking you to please help us as soon as possible by sending to me a reading - physical diagnosis of our daughter’s illness with suggestion for treatment. Her name is [5479], born 2/7/20.
“I beg to inform you that Mrs. [629] suggested that I should write you for help…”
B3. 5/14/30 Father’s letter: ”…I am a little disappointed that I cannot get a reading for our daughter sooner. She has been ill for a considerable time and I felt that in a case like this and in the name of humanity you would be able to give an emergency reading to help at the right time.
“I expect to pay you a visit and see your institute and central office at Virginia Beach later on when our daughter’s condition permits me to do so, and my intention is to give a donation to your institute, but at the present time I am unable to leave the town. I don’t go out evenings therefore, I ask you again if you intend to give a reading please do it as soon as possible because just now is the time when we have to decide about the changing of treatments.
“P.S. As I have the application blank now I would like to get a life reading for myself, and I would appreciate it if you would kindly let me know the proper time to send in same…”
