1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5526]. Now we find, in the developments in the physical forces of the body there is the lack of coordinations. These conditions are of the prenatal character and nature, so that - while the organs, the nerve system, the brain centers, all show OUTWARDLY a near normal appearance, yet their developments and their functioning are ABNORMAL; and while these conditions may be aided, this - as we find - will require patience, and a great deal of persistence; also a great deal of prayer, long-suffering and patience with the conditions. This, to be sure, may be discounted or set aside as an abnormalcy that is beyond the reach of any medical science, as seen - save from an unseen source; yet, as a body is builded - and as this is as yet in its developing stages - there may be those vibrations set up in the system, so that there may be BUILDED, as it were, those connections, those vibrations, between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system, those reflexes from the brain forces themselves, that will make for a coordination that may MAKE the body nearer that of a normal, active, developing physical body, and that - that entity, that soul development of [5526], as known, may find its experience in THIS physical condition as one that may be made worth while, and those contacting same, those aiding and abetting in this development, may gain for themselves something of that that makes for a development that BECOMES worth while in its application. Not only a beautiful ideal, but an applied truth, that makes for those elements in the mental being as will lead the spiritual forces through their physical activities, as to become as an aid to many.

2. In the beginning of such applications for this body, these must be made of due consideration, that those caring for the body-physical, those administering to the needs of the body-physical AND mental, must be wholly, acceptable, in accord with that as would be accomplished in the administration of those elements, of those medicinal properties, of those treatments as would aid in bringing these coordinations, these activities in the mental, in the sympathetic system, in the brain centers themselves.

3. Then, when this is done - begin with those applications of electrical vibrations through those of the wet battery formations Wet Cell Appliance] as will carry those of the gold, of the silver - both. These alternated into the system in such a manner as to change that of the nerves’ energy as related to that known, or called the gray matter itself; making such connections in the umbilicus region and in the 1st and 2nd cervical region, where those of the glands - the pineal, the lyden [Leydig?], the medulla oblongata itself - may be so acted upon as to make for those vibrations in the system as to aid the body in gaining its equilibrium.

4. When these administrations have been given each day, for thirty to forty minutes, for a period of thirty-six to seventy-two days - then we would CHANGE those to that as will meet those conditions as will be altered in the vibratory forces of the system; keeping body quiet, yet as active as its physical being and mentality allows same to be; in the open as much as possible, and about - and WITH as cheery companionships as may be had; not allowing conditions to arise where those of the tendencies of aggravation, nor of those tendencies to produce for violence in active forces of mind OR body, brings these forces in subjection, rather than accentuating same within the physical being; talking or suggesting to the body as it rests, as it falls into slumber each day, each evening - these, as we find, will bring the greater results, bring that which will make for a better, a noble, an understanding and proper coordinating body. Ready for questions.

5. (Q) What was the cause of this condition with this body? (A) That of the condition existent during the period of pregnancy, and the manner in which presentation was given, or made.

6. (Q) Has he a tendency to be dishonest? (A) From the physical conditions; not by nature.

7. (Q) Is it best that he be at home or in an institution? (A) Best that he be where those such as has been outlined may be administered, whether in home or whether in an institution. There must first be those bonds of sympathy with those who would administer, those who would act in the capacity of the aid to the body.

Do as we have outlined. Then we may give further instructions. We are through for the present.

B1. 6/6/30 Mother’s ltr.: “I learned about your wonderful work through a friend who visited your hospital while at Va. Beach. I am a practical nurse and have to board my children in a children’s home; one, a boy 15 yrs. old, was unable to keep up with his class and was judged a feeble mind and has been confined in the State Colony for the feeble minded at Lisbon, N.J. for the past year. He is a sweet, lovable character and it breaks my heart to have him separated from the other children and me.

“I am told that if I can establish my own home I will be permitted to have him with me which I am trying to do, and expect to have him in a few weeks… I wondered if you would let me send you half the price of a rdg. with my application and the balance when I am able to get it together…”

B2. 8/26/30 Mother’s letter: “Will you tell of the cause and any possible treatment for his condition? 2. Is it possible for his condition to be cured? 3. If he cannot be cured what are the best plans for him? 4. Has he a tendency to be dishonest? 5. Is it best that he be at home or in an institution?”
