1. EC: We have the body, [5536]. This we have had before. We find there are improvements in the general physical forces, and there needs be that the conditions as are being applied be kept up, with the necessary changes to bring normal eliminations as the conditions are corrected. Not that any portion should be overtaxed at the expense of the other, but that - as corrections are made, as the body begins the use of the organs and of the body itself - that necessary stimulation in the alimentary canal for eliminations there, that for the capillary, the lymphatic circulation, that for the respiratory system, be stimulated, either through those of changing in the diets to meet the needs, or of the changing in the exercise or manipulations. Either of these, or variegated would be better.

2. Keep up, then, all those suggestions as have been given for the improvements. Ready for questions.

B1. 5/9/29 [5536]‘s letter: ”…In reply to your letter of inquiry of May 6th, I wish to state that all instructions have been followed and are still being followed.

“I am slowly making improvement as I can stand much better alone; that is in braces. I can also walk holding to my uncle’s arm with no cane nor crutch in the other arm. I never was able to do that before. Of course that is not perfect walking, but I can move alone one foot at a time.

“The doctor who gives me the violet-ray on the days I do not take the massage wishes to give me on the other days treatments across the abdomen for to stimulate the nerve centers. Also he wishes to do this on the feet and legs. He has given me some along with the light, but he thinks the nerves need stimulation every day. Of course he does not wish to interfere with other doctor, as he is glad to cooperate with him and you. What do you think of his plan? I am enclosing one of [his] ads,* so that you can see the type of doctor that he is.

“Doctor Crain, the osteopath, is also doing very good work and along with Dr. Weist anxiously awaits results.

“Of course, if I followed the above plan I would be taking on three days two treatments, one of Dr. Crain and one of Dr. Weist.

“I am going to request another reading when all of the instructions of your former reading have been carried out. That will be about May 23rd.
