This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of October, 1928, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [5540], via David E. Kahn.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [5540], who is in his office at The … Co., Richmond, Indiana, and his business associations and relations. You will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding these.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [5540]. This we have had before.

3. In the physical conditions of the body, these show some improvements from those as we have had before. Not in its entirety, though, has the body carried out those suggestions for the full and complete correction of the physical defects, as has been given. WELL would it be that these be adhered to in the manner as has been outlined for the body, for without the proper conditions existent in the physical forces the best may not be administered by the body in conducting of business associations or business arrangements.

4. As to the business associations and the associations as exist, and as are contemplated by the body - in the GENERAL way and manner, that as has been and as is BEING considered by the body is WELL and good. The consolidation of interests will be advantageous in many directions. Many details as to how these various interests are represented, and how the outlet of that manufactured is distributed, have to be worked out. The GENERAL way and manner as is being considered is very good. WELL, however, that there be more than ONE outlet, or ONE control for the outlet, OF that manufactured, UNLESS more STABILIZED conditions of the outlet are created; that is, more assurance that, that being manufactured - or the expansion of the business in the varied directions - finds an outlet for the expansion as may be made by the body and associates, other than in just one direction. The individuals as a WHOLE, as are being considered as associates, are WELL. The individual as would DIRECT the sales and the outlet for that manufactured, well to trust same and same’s POLICIES - but not be confined SOLELY to that one outlet, but that MAY BE the MAIN outlet. Do that.

B1. 10/1/28 Letter from [5540]: ”…I spent last Wednesday in Goshen, Indiana, with Mr. David Kahn on a business trip and while with him explained to him a new proposition that I was developing in a business way. He asked me to write you for a reading on this proposition and so I am enclosing herewith an application for same, together with the questions that I would like to have answered. I explained to him that my readings in the past had been all physical, but was assured by him that you would be perfectly willing to give me this reading and that I should tell you that he had asked me to have it…”
