This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Virginia, this 25th day of January, 1930, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [5540].

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [5540], and those business associations and relations as confront the body at this time.

3. (Q) Where and how will I find a satisfactory purchaser for my house located at 200 South 21st Street, Richmond, Indiana? (A) These conditions should be rather conditional at the present time, though - is this sought at the present time - Corprice (?) should be considered, and this could be carried through the regular channels of real estate transfer - though, would there be changes as may be made or consummated as respecting the business and business associations and relations, why DISPOSE of same at the present time? for there may be the consideration of more than one character of combination or change considered by the body. First, there may be the sale - or the use of the factories - to either the Victor peoples, who seek such places for construction of THEIR product - or there may be, through the Sloane interests, or General Motors, those of the Dayfo radio cabinets. These may be made either for the body [5540] to be associated WITH, or may be sold, traded, or transferred at a reasonable and an equitable rate, or there may be the conducting of the plant for either of these products, or there may be the transfer entirely of the body’s interests with the SAME, as they combine with other plants for the production of their cabinets or products, and the body [5540] - as has been suggested - may be transferred to one of the other plants where changing or enlarging of the plant, or the modernizing of the plant FOR construction. These should be considered in the light of transfer of business, as WELL as the light of transfer of the house, see?

4. (Q) Which will be more profitable for me; sell my factory and enter some other line of business, or merge it with some other organization? (A) As has been suggested, either of these may be made. As to WHICH would be the most satisfactory, that should be determined by the character or kind of transfer or sale may be made, and as to whether the service of the body [5540] is desired, or the body [5540] DESIRES TO continue IN the service of those who would make the combination. Either of these interests may be considered. As to whether the cabinets were manufactured here, of those of the radio or of the ice boxes - BOTH of these may be considered, for the strategic point of delivery - either to East, West, North or South, is good, and should be considered in the transfer, or in the negotiations for transfer.

5. (Q) If desired to sell, where will I find a satisfactory purchaser for my factory The … Company located in Richmond, Indiana? (A) As has been given - these channels offer at this particular time, either through the Victor, Radio, or the General Motors, or Sloane’s interests - either for THEIR cabinet plant, whether of the ice or of the radio cabinet. The radio cabinet offer, ESPECIALLY, with the character of machinery, with the character of the business and of the PEOPLES who HAVE been and ARE associated with same, an opportunity for such merger, transfer, change, or liquidation.

6. (Q) Should I initiate proceedings for merger - (A) Initiate same.

7. (Q) Where will I find in southern California the best financial opportunities for me to enter actively? (A) San Diego, if the change is made. The OPPORTUNITIES for the body, FINANCIALLY, are bettered in the changes as may be made with the body as representative of, or conducting or superintending of such plants, as changes may be made - whether same is for the CENTRAL distributing and manufacturing point or a western one. The eastern offer the greater FINANCIAL opportunities, considered from the business standpoint. Considered from RELATIONS, and OTHER relations as have to do with the MENTAL body, the California offer opportunities.

8. (Q) What kind of business or profession will it be? (A) That’s just as has been given! As representative, or manufacturing agent, or superintendent of agency of such distributing.

9. (Q) How should I proceed to make the proper contacts in entering this new business? (A) Any of these as has been given. Either to the Victor, to the General Motor, or to the combination as may be made by the COMBINING of the efforts of many cabinet plants, and the superintending or directing sales in different territory entirely.

10. (Q) That is all the questions. Any further advice? (A) In considering changes, many interests become involved. In a general manner, there is presented for the body’s consideration either of three directions as may be taken by the body. These, necessarily, will require some time (as is called), and also some manipulation of friendships and relations that necessarily require the active forces of MANY; yet these may be made and turned into channels that would bring for the body those satisfactions, and much content IN the labors of the body. We are through for the present.
