This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 16th day of May, 1930, in accordance with request made by those in charge.

Time of Reading Cayce Hospital, 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Virginia Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5555] - this we have had before.

2. In the general physical condition, these show there are the continued keeping up of the changes necessary. There SHOULD be the proper consideration given for the pressure in the blood supply, that there are no more tendencies towards the slowing up of the heart’s action, nor the tendency to weaken the functioning of organs through the slowing up of circulation. This, as has been given, should be altered rather by the manipulative measures than by the giving of properties as would increase the FUNCTIONING. Changes by the diet, by the vibratory forces in the system - these SHOULD be corrected; so that this will not occur in system. By the change, then, would be the DEEPER manipulation. Especially will this be found in the upper DORSAL region. While the dizziness as will come, or does come FROM the manipulations - these, as we find, will gradually balance themselves, so that there is an even keel. Well, too, that there is consideration given the condition of the blood supply as related to the ACID and to the acidosis of the system, see? Ready for questions.

3. (Q) What treatment for acidosis? (A) Soda, and the changing in the diet, or alternating of same so that there are more reactory forces of an alkalin nature.

4. (Q) Is diet correct at present time? (A) Diet very good, but it’s necessary for the body’s balance that the diet be altered - and not just strung along with one thing continually, see?

5. (Q) Is treatment properly given for relief of pain in lumbar area? (A) Treatment is very good. Deeper treatment, as we would find, especially in the upper dorsal. While that through the ileum centers gives pain, the pressure is produced most in same. Not that we should NOT keep up that in the lumbar, but DEEPER manipulation will make an EASIER reaction for the body when those are given through the ileum and through the lumbar region.

6. (Q) When would it be advisable for this patient to go home? (A) Oh, it’ll be several weeks yet.
