This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 22nd day of March, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self, through wife - Mrs. [2470].

1. HLC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

3. Conditions are much improved from those that we have had at times here before, yet there are disturbances that prove annoying - as well as disturbing to the body.

4. We find that these in the main, as related to the blood supply, may be met by change in the diet. For, the tendencies for the swelling in portions of the face, as we find, are from the lack of supply of the vital energies in the veins and the inability thus to prevent the drainages, or hemorrhages.

5. As we find, there should be the more efficient supply and more quantities of the Vitamins B and B-1 and D. These, through the food supply, would be the better means for obtaining helpful directions for the body forces.

6. These vitamins would be found supplied best by having at least twice a week the pig’s feet, well cooked and well jellied - using the gristle portions especially, or mostly; also goose liver, chicken liver, calves’ liver. These may be alternated, but these should be broiled - or ground and cakes lightly cooked with same - in the various forms. Also we would have plenty of steel cut oats, well-cooked, or cracked wheat and such forms.

7. In these may there be obtained those influences best for this body in the present.

9. (Q) What is cause and treatment for severe headaches and swelling over eyes? (A) It has just been given as to the cause, - the tendencies for some of the veins in throat and head to be so thinned - the walls of same - as to allow the PRESSURE that is indicated in the blood to ooze through same. Hence those activities as indicated in the open, and the foods, should correct these conditions.

10. (Q) What is cause of protruding bone on right arm near elbow? (A) A condition contracted some time ago by an injury there. Massage with Castor Oil and apply Castor Oil Packs each evening - this will relieve the tendencies for irritation.

11. (Q) What causes the bleeding from head? (A) As just indicated, and what to do about it!

Do that.

12. (Q) Will the diet overcome the extreme nervousness? (A) If there is the tendency also to correct same through the general mental emotions, and mental applications of self towards more peaceful and harmonious things.
