EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5562] - this we have had before. In some respects we find conditions are much as has been given before. In others we find not so good, and in others improvements in. There has been recently that happening, or that incident in the experience of the entity that has been rather of the aggravating nature. As we find, will those conditions as have been outlined for same be carried on in the MANNER as outlined, bettered and bettered will be those conditions physically, and responses through the mental body of this BODY, [5562]. Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Is Dr. Morrison giving osteopathic treatments correctly? (A) About one time in three they are correct!
-
(Q) Should both prescriptions be continued? (A) Be continued.
-
(Q) How should the osteopathic treatments be given? (A) In the manner as has been outlined for the body. As has been seen, the coordination of the conditions with this body are as those active forces in the glands as direct the nerve energy between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system, as they enter the brain, the defective coordinations coming from the genitive system. In the manipulations, when there is too severe treatments given in the upper cervical and not a proper coordinating treatment given in the lumbar and lower dorsal, we MUST have then a reverse reaction, very much in the same manner as we have from an electric vibration when there is short circuit, or voltage is in contact with that which RAISES the vibration, see? So, when the manipulations are given, give them with the idea, and with the active forces as producing the same coordination in all centers from which sympathetic and cerebrospinal radiate; so that their active forces to the brain will be in coordination. Do that.
-
That is all the questions regarding this body.

We are through with this reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 12/30 Mother [5563]‘s letter: ”…I know you will be happy to hear we are all well and I sure hope this will find your family and your self well too. I know you will be happy to hear [5562] is better than she has been in twelve years. Just think, Mr. Cayce, she hasn’t had a spell in over three months. She looks, feels and acts better than she ever did. I changed her treatments as it is impossible to find anyone up here to cooperate but, after all, I still do say it helped her at Cayce Hospital, but things were not what they should have been.
“However, dear Mr. Cayce, we all look upon you as a very, very dear friend and I can’t forget how good and kind you were to us, and we hope and pray that you will keep well, and the coming year will bring you and yours lots of happiness. With best wishes from us all to you and Mrs. Cayce…”
R2. 7/60 Notes on EPILEPSY cases from the Edgar Cayce records made by Walter N. Pahnke, M.D. at A.R.E., Virginia Beach, Virginia:
The following notes were taken on cases as read and are merely the opinion of the abstractor at the time he read the case plus the correspondence. The main value of these notes is that they give some indication of what the exact diagnosis in each case may or may not be.
Case [5562]. Given in 1930. 12 year old female. This case was classified in group 1. Diagnosis on the Cayce hospital record was epilepsy and convulsions were noted in the progress reports on the hospital records. After discharge from the Cayce Hospital there were no more follow-up reports on the records.

B1. 7/30 Mother [5563]‘s letter: ”…We had a most delightful trip home - no trouble at all. [5562] was so good on the trip home, also my other daughter […].
“Well, Mr. Cayce, [5562] has been real well since she came back. I give her the battery an hour every day and I try to be so faithful about her diet. I also take her twice a week for treatments. The doctor I take her to is blind but is supposed to be a very good doctor. I read him the readings. I don’t know if he is following them or not but we will soon find out when we have a reading. If you can give us a reading in a couple of weeks that will give her chance to get accustomed to the change. However, before that I will write you and plan some questions.
“Mr. Cayce, I can’t begin to tell you how grateful we are to you and how (apart from your work) we do appreciate all your kindness. Just knowing you gives us something to think about.
“Your understanding and help has meant so much to me and I most certainly do not want to lose track of you. My husband and I do feel that [5562] has been helped a great deal although she has a long way to go yet. She is a different girl than she was last year. My husband considers it money and time well spent. He is so happy with her and seldom a day goes by that we don’t talk of Mr. Cayce.
“Mr. Cayce, you with your understanding must know how hard it was for me and you must know how hard it was to make up my mind to come home, but […] [her son] needs me too. If we have to come back in September I will arrange to bring him with me and put him in Mr. Greene’s school. My husband can come down once in a while, [she invited EC to come to visit them]…
“In the mean time ask a prayer for us and may God bless you, Dear Mr. Cayce, until we meet again…”
