GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the further improvement of same, and you will answer any questions regarding same that I may ask you.
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, this we have had before.
-
Now, we find the physical conditions in this body much improved, and near to that of normal well-being throughout the physical functioning of the system. The eliminations, as have been hindered by subluxations and pressure in the sacral and lumbar regions, have been improved, and are GAINING in the normal functioning and the normal incentive as received through the effect of those nerves and tissue as have been released by removing pressure on same.
-
To keep the normal conditions, then, there should be the occasional manipulation given, to keep the system, the lower portion of the torso, especially, functioning in the normal way and manner. This may be done now through those of the general massage and manipulations, for corrections have been made, and if these massages are given in the way and manner as to keep the general system in its normal condition, re-activity will set in throughout, and be kept in the normal place. Were these given in an improper way and manner, we would find that hindrance, rather than assistance, might be received from same, see?
-
Keep the diet in that way and manner.
-
Keep OUTDOORS as much as possible, see? Ready for questions.
-
(Q) How often should the manipulations be given now? (A) Once each week would be sufficient, if done good and proper, see?
-
(Q) Can the manipulations be given in the right and proper way by Mrs. [2457] [Mrs. [2457] had studied neuropathy technique at Southern Neuropathic College, Montgomery, Ala.], of … St., …, Ala.? (A) Yes - very good!
-
(Q) Is it safe for the body now to start to school this fall? (A) Start whenever it gets ready - for the normal functioning of the body, in its blood and in its activity, will be better than being kept housed up, or being kept from it. The body needs to be out. It has been housed too much, you see.
-
That is all the questions.
-
We are through with this reading.
Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 9/16/26 EC’s letter to Mrs. [4329]: ”…We had a very thorough demonstration of the affect of one carrying out the suggestions fully in a case we had here a few weeks ago. A lady [4631] brought a child here from Alabama - the child [5566] had been running a temperature for more than a year, but scarcely more than a day at a time that it wasn’t above a hundred. There was a physician here who carried out the suggestions given, and in less than two days there was no more temperature, neither has there been since, now nearly six weeks since the beginning. I have never seen such an improvement in my life. Of course, they stayed right here and we could get a check reading on it every few days, but that certainly demonstrated to us all the feasibility of the place that we’re trying to build Cayce Hospital]…”
R2. 9/26 Mother [4631]‘s letter: ”…[5566] went to school this morning and is doing just fine. I certainly do thank each of you for being so very, very nice to us, especially to my ‘angel’. You never will know how much I appreciate it all, and I enjoyed every minute with you. Every body thinks we both look so well… Surely am going to try to follow your advice…”
R3. 5/27/27 EC’s letter to Mr. [195]: ”…[5566]‘s condition was caused by the presentation and by an instrument used at the time of the child’s birth and she had been troubled with the kidneys and the bowels practically all of her life, until she was here last summer. As you know Dr. House treated her and she has had no more temperature, nor any more trouble of that nature that she had been bothered with for practically the first seven years of her life - though she had been treated by many physicians, none of them had really located the trouble, until this reading was given…”
R4. 2/20/29 Mother [4631]‘s letter: ”…We enjoyed every minute of your visit and hope it won’t be long before you will be coming again… Am glad to say that [5566] is doing fine, sure do thank you for suggesting Unguentine. It has just about cured that place. She rarely ever complains of itching. Bought a bottle of Castoria and have been using that when necessary. She kept having gum boils, so I carried her to Dr. Pierson [Dentist], and he pulled out four teeth, so she is a sight now. He says the others will be coming soon…”
R5. 2/26/29 Mother [4631]‘s letter: ”…[5566] has been doing fine, complained of itching at night, so I used Unguentine and gave her some Castoria. She is growing so fast…”
R6. 3/5/29 EC wrote making an appointment for a check reading.
