This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 6th day of October, 1942, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [558], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [558].

3. Many changes have taken place in the body since last we had same here. Many developments, many activities.

4. In the present we find there are some disturbances in the pelvic organs. This comes from some adherence, or adhesions, from some time back.

5. With this gradual thickening of tissue there has come those disturbances that produce a discharge at times and a good deal of anxiety in these directions.

6. As we find, it would be well to use the body-temperature douche of Atomidine; the proportions being a teaspoonful of the Atomidine to a gallon of water. Use only in a Fountain Syringe. Use this about three times each week.

7. But each day, except on the days when the Atomidine douche is used, we would use - and this preferably in the evening - a Glyco-Thymoline douche; the proportions being a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline in a gallon of body-temperature water. Use this preferably just before retiring.

8. Do have at least once a week, until six or eight are taken, a thorough relaxing treatment through general hydrotherapy, - such as may be given at Reilly’s. This would include the sitz baths, [GD’s note: See details for general sitz bath under 3104-1 Reports] - including not so much of the steam, but a very little of the dry heat - just sufficient to produce a good perspiration, not to overheat the body, else we will find that it would cause a tendency for fainting spells, owing to the irregularity of the heart - which is caused by the adhesions, really, in the abdominal area - as reflected through both kidneys and liver to the heart circulation. But have a very mild sweat, and then a good deal of the water treatment; either lying in the water - this with pine oil in same - or the hot and cold needle shower, with a thorough rubdown. This should include especially a good massage from the middle of the spine, or the 6th and 7th dorsal, to the end of the spine.

9. Do these and, as we find, we will make for better conditions for this body.

11. (Q) Is the blood pressure normal? (A) Apparently if the body is normal the blood pressure is normal. Not overanxiety may be felt in this direction. For, as has been indicated, with the correction of these conditions through the pelvic organs, and the tautness along the spine, we will find the body will respond.

There is no growth, - only the adhesions in the pelvis.

12. (Q) Is there anything I can do to better my physical and mental self? (A) Yes - do the things we have just suggested here!

13. (Q) Is it indicated that I will find desired security in my new home? (A) We haven’t any new home, - but so far as the mind is concerned, if the body makes same, not dependent upon others but being as one contributory to making it a happy surrounding, yes.

R1. 12/2/42 I have taken half of the treatments and Mr. Reilly suggest that I get another reading now so I would like these questions asked.

Has there been any improvements in the body since taking the sitz baths?

Are these baths being given correctly and should anything be added to the rest of the course?

Are the massages having the desired effect?

Why does the doctor insist that there is a tumor and it has gotten larger since the treatments. What basis did the doctor have to disagree with the diagnosis of the Reading?

Do you find a tumor in the body?

Is Reilly giving the treatments as suggested?

Are there any further instructions to be carried out that will be sufficient?

I showed Mr. Reilly the reading and he said that the tumor could be mistaken for adhesions and if so the treatments would reduce same.
