This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 7th day of November, 1938, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [562], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]
Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:05 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va.
-
GC: You will give the present physical condition of this body, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes.
-
Now as we find, there are some improvements shown in the general physical forces of the body. Still, there is a great deal to be desired as to the better physical forces for this body, [562].
-
While it may be said that there is not a great deal of disturbance, we find that there IS a great disturbance throughout the system.
-
The lack of the vitality throughout the system, the poor assimilation, the inclination for a little temperature at most all times, - especially of evening and early morning; and the inability for the body to seem to get its strength, the lack of the pep and vitality, - all indicate how that the general system needs - as we have indicated - a great deal of sunshine, with the body in the open a great deal, and rather the “roughing it.”
-
This character of activity and manner of treatment would be much more preferable for the body than doses of nostrums of any nature or character.
-
Of course, a general massage occasionally would be very well. But if the activities would be in such a manner and the use of the electrically driven vibrator, we would find the greater improvements for this body.
-
When such activity is considered, let there be plenty of milk and whole wheat, chicken or fowl or fish as a portion of the diet. But never any of these fried, or fried foods.
-
Do these as we find the better for this body.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Did I do the treatment right as suggested in the Reading? (A) So far as it was carried, very well. Keep in the open and out where there would be more “roughing it,” if we would gain the better forces for this body.
-
(Q) Are my resistances better? (A) Not a great deal. These are so easily broken down by activity and being within, so that not only the assimilating system but the eliminating system and the pulmonary system are affected, - and there is the inclination for a little temperature.
-
(Q) How may I overcome the little cold I seem to keep most of the time? (A) Do the things that have been indicated.
-
We are through with this Reading.
