EC: Yes, we have the body, [5638]. This we have had before. Now, while there are some changes, apparently for the better with this body - would the better results come to the body from that as has been given, well that the body comply wholly TO that suggestion given. Then, as to how, and the manner, the way, the character of changes may be given, will the body put self in that POSITION to carry same out.

My first reading recommended several things which I followed fairly closely but said that you would give more explicit directions later. Won’t you tell me just what to do, and not what to do more clearly?”

My dear Mr. [5638]:
Replying to yours of the 2nd, I am of the opinion that the thing for you to do is to come to the Cayce Hospital. Please do not get the idea, however, that I am trying to persuade you to come down here for treatment because we need patients. But, if you will read your first reading, you will find - “First be necessary that the body refrain from too much physical exercise for a while, or for three or four weeks” - and that you watch carefully your diet during this time. Now, the physic that is given you would have to be taken - if I understand it - while you are resting, because it would be too hard on you unless you did rest. Then you should have, also, those sinusoidal rays. ALL of these things you can get here. Then, as it gives you in the reading - in the first one - if you put yourself in the position WHERE you can carry out the suggestions, or where you WILL carry them out, it will give you the detail of how each thing is to be applied. Wouldn’t it be possible for you to arrange to come down here for, say, two or three weeks? I BELIEVE you would be feeling an entirely different man in that time. Then, I’m sure the information would be made very clear to you. But, where information is only partially carried out, just such as you got on the 30th is usually the result. I wish you would arrange to come down and see us - let’s see if we can’t help you out.
