This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 27th day of October, 1943, in accordance with request made by the mother - Mrs. [379], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc.

Navy Yard, Time of Reading Shop 11, Mold Loft, 11:00 to 11:05 A. M. Eastern War Time. …, Va.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time with suggestions for corrective measures, answering the questions as I ask them:

2. EC: (It’s a busy place! - have to wait until he comes back here - this is his place.)

3. Yes, we have the body here, [568]; this we have had before.

4. Conditions have changed in many ways since last we had the body. Some outside influences have occurred, and there is a lesion forming in the neck and the base of the brain - where the medulla oblongata passes through the connection with sympathetic and cerebrospinal nerves and reflexes.

5. Unless drainages are set up the body will one day have much more trouble from dizzy spells, and even the loss of memory.

6. Do have at least twelve such osteopathic adjustments and gentle treatments to set up drainages, so that the circulation through the sympathetic and the cerebro-spinal system (central nervous system) may be relieved of these pressures. Take these first about twice each week for three weeks, and then once each week for the rest. Include in these, of course, the releasing of the pressures in the upper dorsal and in the lumbar areas; we will have better circulation and better conditions for this body.

8. (Q) Did the fall I had from horse on Oct. 3, cause this condition? (A) Yes - there’s a pressure, you see, on the right side of the head that caused those concussions for the time being. But the pressures now are in the areas of the first and second cervical.

9. (Q) What caused the fall and convulsions on Tuesday, Oct. 5, in front of Shop 38? (A) Just as indicated.

Do these things given, if we would prevent further disturbance that will make for lapses in memory.

10. (Q) What should I use on face to prevent scars? (A) Camphorated Oil.

11. (Q) Would Zyrone be helpful in building up this body? (A) KalDak would be better. For this body take a level teaspoonful just before going to bed. Dissolve it in a small quantity of hot water and fill the glass with milk. This will be helpful. Take it about three months, then leave it off for a week, and then take it fifteen days more. Then leave it off entirely.

12. (Q) What osteopath would you suggest to make these corrections? (A) Such as Richardson. [M. L. Richardson, D.O.]

Have osteopathic corrections been made properly, as to lesions in neck and base of brain? Have drainages been properly set up? How much longer will it be necessary or advisable to take the osteopathic adjustments once a week from Dr. Richardson? How is liver condition? Are there any other corrections for same?

B2. 10/6/43 Mother, Mrs. [379], phoned saying that [568] had fallen from a horse on 10/3/43 but had gone back to work. Then yesterday he fell at work and is in the Marine Hospital, 3rd floor, Hampton Blvd., Norfolk, Va., and the doctor says he’ll be there at least 2 more days.

“I’ll phone you the minute he gets home. Mr. [420] talked to the doctor about him. [568]‘s face is all mashed in and he had convulsions - don’t know what they will do for him there - maybe they will do something they shouldn’t, but if you think it best to wait until he gets home please try to get him in as soon as you can - just put him down within the next week if it is possible - there may be serious after effects if he doesn’t get the proper attention. I don’t know whether the vertigo made him fall, or whether the fall started the convulsions. He’s is in a serious condition or I wouldn’t even bother you. Please get it in if you possibly can, so we’ll know that we’re doing the right thing for him. What caused the fall and convulsions on Tuesday, Oct. 5th, in front of Shop 38? Did the fall he had from a horse on 10/3/43 cause this condition? Is this likely to happen again? What should be used on face to prevent scars?”

B3. 10/10/43 Mother, Mrs. [379], phoned again saying that [568] feels fine but there is no telling what may turn up later - she wants to be sure everything is done that should be done to prevent after effects. Are osteopathic treatments needed?
