1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep.

Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep. You have before you the body of [5706], …, Georgia.

Now Mr. Cayce, tell me the mental and physical condition of this body and tell me of all the ailments in this body, and tell me if they can be cured.

2. EC: There is a difference in this body now than when we had it before. The inception of the influences governing the locomotors have been improved to a great extent. We have not had all of the suggestions carried out in full; the deeper manipulation to the lower end of the spine, or the lumbar and sacrum region, have not been carried out as they should. We would again take these same medicinal properties into the system.

3. We find on the right side of the spine, just above, or opposite the 3rd and 4th lumbar and to the upper sacrum, an enlargement of the glands. With the proper manipulation more of this should have been absorbed than has been. If kept as it is at present, should be removed by operation, but we would prepare the body well by these medicinal properties, then have the body well relaxed by the manipulations as we have given, before this is undertaken. In the operation it will be necessary to be careful that none of the ligaments are severed that have to do with the centers connecting with the nerve forces to the locomotors, or else we find we will cause the same condition to exist as is existing at present, as in the use of the lower limb, that is the inactivities throughout of the muscular forces, but if these be properly carried this can be removed. It would have been better if the proper manipulations had been carried out, and medicines had been used in the system, as we would not have had the blood forces detracted from.

4. Follow out these lines, keep close to the spiritual forces, keep faith in all that is good, and the body will be well when these are carried out.

5. (Q) What sort of a growth is on the spine that you speak of? (A) An enlargement on the cerebro nerve that has caused a partial paralysis of the nerve that governs the locomotor, that is in the left lower limb. Do as we have given here and we find this will be removed.

R1. 2/23 Mrs. [5706]‘s letter: “When you prescribed for me, I took the medicine for a while but I seem to be getting worse so I stopped. The other day I started it again and since then have been slowly improving. You know I am now walking badly on crutches. Have lost every cent of my money so you see I am in a bad fix. I have never lost heart and feel that anyone whose general health is as perfect as mine will get well someday. I wanted to buy your book very much [[3744] series] but I haven’t a cent now - only what my children given me, and you know with my disposition that is hard. Hope the medicine will cure me. I am going to keep it up.”

R2. 10/23 Mrs. [5706]‘s letter: “Now about myself, the doctor who gave me massages is dead. As long as he lived I took your medicine and had his massage and continued to improve but now I am not doing a thing but I am still improving, please tell me, must I continue the medicine? I want to ask you something. There is some disturbance in my leg, don’t know what it is but I feel like the condition is much stronger than it has ever been. I am still on crutches but am still much better. I do wish you would try to find out what is happening inside of my leg if possible… You are the only one who has ever done me any good but I am still far from well, or rather can walk. You know when I was so helpless I lost all my money, about $50,000 and am now trying to make a little and believe me it is hard. I feel if I ever get my hands on any more, I am going to keep it but don’t know. How is your father? Hope he is o.k. now. I know you are glad to be back home for really there is no place like it. Please let me hear from you sometimes as I certainly appreciate your interest.”
