This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 4th day of August, 1930, in accordance with request made by his mother, Mrs. [5716].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Drs. Lydic and Wigal, and L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading … Avenue, 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5715]. In the physical forces of the body we do not find the responses in the coordination in the cerebro-spinal and brain forces, nor in the activity of the white and gray nerve matter, not in the proper distribution of active forces as may be termed discernment, and this must mean - unless changes may be made - the softening of the tissue itself, or the beginning of dementia praecox, as it is termed; for this is EATING, as it were - unless it is healing. Then, the active forces are such that there must be precautions taken as respecting the physical responsibilities of those that are responsible for the activities of body; precautions as to that that may be said or may be done BY the body. Hence, we would find that it would be the best for these to be placed, then, where subjugations and confinement may be aiding to the body, see? These will first come under those supervisions of CLEANSING of throat, and of that as may be given in bromides to quiet the body. Do that.

  2. (Q) Should body come to hospital for treatments? (A) Would be best to send the body to an INSTITUTION where these may be looked after closely. State institution for such conditions.

  3. (Q) Is body dangerous to others? (A) Will gradually become so, more and more, as conditions progress - unless there may be changes made. We are through with this reading.
