This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the Washington Hotel, Room 1105, Chicago, Ill., this 25th day of July, 1924, in accordance with request made by themselves - [5722] and wife, through Mr. Oscar Gumbinsky.

Time of Reading 1:10 P. M. Chicago, Ill.

1. GD: Now you have before you the bodies of [5722] and wife who are present in this room. These two desire that a child be born to them. You will give the cause of this defect, if any, at the present time, with whom, and how it may be corrected.

2. EC: Yes, we have these bodies here. Now, we find there are conditions that exist in each that this desire is in the manner denied. These may be corrected.

3. These are the conditions as we find for the correction:

4. In heart we find the same condition existing in the glands in reproduction that act as the physical prevention of this consummation. In the lytic [Leydig]* gland of each we find the lack of that necessary to produce the fertile ovum or the fertile semen that would be the production. We do not find physical conditions in the material way as the preventative, but that in the gland condition in each. For the female, would be as these conditions to conform to that this may be a consummation. We would take first in the system this:

Gum Camphor…10 grains, Sulphate of Morphia…1/2 grain, Muriated Iron…20 grains.

This would be well mixed together and put in twenty capsules. These would be very small. One of these would be taken each day until the whole quantity is taken.

5. We would also do this in the physical. Every second day, or every other day, we would add this to at least a gallon and a half of very warm water:

Tincture of Myrrh…20 drops, Balsam of Tolu…10 grains.

6. This in the water would be used as a sitz bath. Keep this up as long as the medicinal properties are taken in the body.

7. Also, for [5722] take this: The same quantity, the same proportion, the same dosage of Gum Camphor, Sulphate of Morphia and Muriated Iron, in the same number as given.

8. By the time these have been completed we will find the systems of each so set that there will be the consummation of the desires of these two, and a daughter will be born to these.
