GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5726].
-
As we find, there are disturbing conditions. These, as we find, arise from conditions of malformation in the period of development in the body. These have not attached themselves to the brain forces, but produce pressures that cause the lack of normal reflexes in the activity of the body.
-
The accumulations have been those as indicated, from risings in the ears, and lie at the upper portion of the lower part or lobe of the brain. These are conditions between the flexes, and the reflexes produced are not regular. While there is growth of the body, growth in retention, there is not normal growth between the impulses that arise from the reflexes to the brain or sensory system, as that of speech; as that at times of hearing; and that of vision. There is not nominal vision to the body, for it is apparently greatly exaggerated at times, and at other times cross-wise or in reverse. These are conditions as we find them.
-
While the growth is nominal, some retarding of the great pain and restlessness could be brought about if we administer that which would act with the circulation to remove the conditions before they become, as it were, scar tissue that would hinder continually. We may bring about by the time there is the second cycle [14th yr.] near normal conditions for the body.
-
The conditions in the structural portions are very good. The reflexes are good. The activity of the organs as lungs, heart, liver and kidneys are normal, except at times. While the general reflexes in the sympathetic system are at variance at times, organs of the sensory system are more affected because of the position of the hindrances or the malformations that would come to head; they have broken and need to be eliminated without producing scar tissue.
-
We would use the medicinal properties which may be carried to the body vibratorially by the Wet Cell Appliance. Because of the age of the individual, these necessarily must be light, thus make the strength of the solution for the Appliance of low electrical charge, and carrying Spirits of Camphor which would be attached to the base of the brain or 1st cervical. The Nitrate of Silver to enter the body in the brachial plexus, or that between the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd dorsal, or one time when this is used, it should be used in the upper portion of the 2nd and the next time in the portion of the 2nd, or between the 2nd and 3rd, and between 1st and 2nd. That is, the small copper plate. The strength of the solution should be Spirits of Camphor, commercial strength. The Nitrate of Silver, one ounce of two percent solution, and then add one ounce of distilled water and one ounce of the active principles as go with same. In making the application to the body of the large plate through which solutions pass vibratorially let it be at the umbilical plexus, or that which causes activity to the circulation where assimilation takes place for food value, for here we may enter the circulation in a more uniform manner. To this body it would be, for the mother, the width of two fingers from the navel center directly to the right side, and one finger up. Attach the large plate here, which passes through the solution of Camphor. Do this each day for thirty minutes, one day using the Camphor, the next day the Nitrate of Silver. The Appliance should be attached, would be attached preferably when the body is ready to retire, and it would remain more quiet. This will not only tend to quiet and cause the body to rest, for there is little charge that will be felt, but it is of sufficient strength to carry the solutions into the body in radiation and absorption of the activity upon the pressures hindering development of the body.
-
Change solution in the Appliance every thirty days. Disconnect the connections from the solution when not in use. Keep them very clean. Do make the connections firm, but not binding. These may be connected with tape. Do these regularly, and in six to eight months we will give further instructions. Some of the solutions will need changing. Do that.
-
When the body is being prepared for dressing in the morning, not while it is asleep, but when it awakens, do give the body a massage. Following the bath, massage the area from the base of the brain to at least the middle portion of the back, down either side, away from the head; along the side of the spine and along the central and sympathetic nervous systems. Massage gently, but deep and it should be done thoroughly. Use cocoa butter in the massage, using a rotary motion, and away from the head.
-
Keep good eliminations.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Why doesn’t he continue his urination? (A) These are the reflexes upon the organs of the body. At times he does, and at other times he doesn’t.
-
(Q) What causes the crying spells and what can be done to quiet him? (A) These are the pressures; poor reflexes between the suggestive forces to the body and those of pressure. They are real pressures to the imaginative, as well as the central nervous system. Remember, through the application of these suggestions, we may gradually remove the sources or causes of the pain. Don’t grow weary because this seems long and tedious. It will be worth the time, but be sincere. Though there may be times when there may be trouble in making the applications, as has been indicated, and this is to be taken into consideration, we would give the body the Appliance treatment when it is ready to retire. It will aid the body in sleeping, and by the second or third month the body should begin to show definite improvements. Do not miss a day in the use of the Appliance. Use one solution one day, and the other the next day, for thirty minutes each day, and don’t forget the massage in the morning. It won’t be long before he will come to like these and desire them, for they will bring relief, as has been indicated.
-
(Q) Why does he press his teeth against objects? (A) Read just what has been given. These are pressures upon the reflexes between the brain and the nervous system of the body. Do what has been outlined, and you will bring relief for this body.

We are through with this reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 8/31/45 Background and report submitted by father: (The child is now being treated by a Dr. Neil, chiropractor, in Washington, D.C., using electronics & zone therapy, attaching plates as per rdg., and is getting results - he is interested in the rdgs. & has [5726]‘s copy - is careful to make attachments the same as suggested in rdg.)
[5726] was born January 6, 1939. He was delivered by Dr. Catherine Johnson after about six hours labor. He weighed 9 pounds 1/2 ounce. It was a perfectly normal delivery according to the doctor.
He played with toys at 3 months and also cooed then. Dr. Johnson looked after his formula and care for 6 months, then I took him to the Southeast Clinic at regular intervals. He sat up at 5 months, cut his first tooth at 6 months, played with other children at 7 months, and tried imitating them. He stood alone at 1 year and walked alone at 14 months. Just before he was a year old, he showed you where his head was and raised his hands to show how big he was. He also said “ta-ta” when you gave him things, “bye-bye”, etc. He would look in a mirror and jabber at his reflection. He enjoyed his first Christmas and played with all of his toys. He would wait for his Daddy to come home from work to pick him up and play with him - he would follow his Daddy with his eyes when he came in and cry if he walked past him until he came back and picked him up. (This was from about the age of 7 months.) In the first year he was normal in every way - eating, sleeping, etc. He weighed 25 pounds at 6 months.
When he started to cut his jaw teeth, he cried nearly every night. He started rubbing his head against the wall. We called in Dr. Johnson because his ears seemed to be sore while washing them. She found they had abscessed and had already broken. I washed them according to her directions, but never got much drainage out. They appeared to heal, but he still continued crying during the night and began hitting his head against the wall. Dr. Johnson advised us to take him to Dr. O’Donell, who gave him a thorough examination, prescribed acid and calcium, and later thyroid. He took thyroid for about 2 or 3 years. When he was about 2 1/2 years old he had a spell where he would have a fever. Dr. Johnson would give him a sulpha drug and the fever would leave, but the next week it would come back. This lasted for about 3 weeks or a month. The doctor never could decide just what caused this. When he has fever he lies in bed and sleeps most all of the time.
He then lost interest in everyone, stopped talking and imitating and wanted to be alone, flipping objects. He got very sluggish. Dr. O’Donnell at one time mentioned having his spine tapped and X-Rays taken of his head, but thought it best to wait until he was older, as he said nothing would be lost by waiting and he might outgrow the condition, and the operation was painful. He sent us to Dr. Winthrop Phelps in Baltimore. Dr. Phelps gave him a thorough examination and said he thought his adenoids had grown around his eustachian tube, making him tone deaf. He advised us to go to an ear specialist. We took him to one recommended by Dr. O’Donnell, but he didn’t advise taking the tonsils and adenoids out at that time.
Dr. Ben Chinn, a neighbor who had noticed [5726] for a period of time, examined him. He found his reflexes normal at one time, then again they were a little sluggish. He took X-Rays of his head (front and side view) but the X-Rays showed no visible growth, just a little thickness in the rear of his skull. Dr. Chinn prescribed Benzadrene and medicine to calm his nerves so that he would sleep better. This seemed to help for awhile.
About this time he began noticing people more and also became curious as to what was going on. This appeared to lose its effectiveness, so we took him to a Mr. Edgar Cayce, at Virginia Beach, Va. He was a psychic registered at Richmond under the name of Association for Research and Enlightenment. An article on his work appeared in Readers’ Digest and twice in Coronet. Mr. Cayce said that [5726] had a malformation at the base of the brain that had not attached itself to the brain, but was retarding his reflexes, caused by risings in the ears, that at times he was normal while at others he was not. He said all of his organs were perfect. He suggested a Wet Cell Appliance, which caused him to improve greatly. He discontinued his crying spells and noticed things more and appeared to use his head to a great extent. We were to get a check reading in 6 to 8 months. We continued the treatment for 9 months. After about 7 months the treatment seemed to lose its effectiveness, and Mr. Cayce died. Therefore, we discontinued his treatment.
[5726] enjoys eating and is always willing to eat. He goes into the refrigerator or bread box and helps himself to what he likes; he spins objects, flips keys or pasteboard; he tries to play in the sand box or swing; loves to take a bath and play in the tub; he will play ball and can catch a ball; he enjoys watching children play. (He does not know how to play, but he loves to watch.) He loves to be played with, and always comes back for more. He knows right from wrong - when he turns over his milk or breaks a dish he runs and hides. He puts things he knocks down back where they belong and patiently puts things in place when it is possible. When he desires things that we won’t let him have he plans ways to get them. He is very fast.
He has terrible crying spells as if he is in pain, and seems to get relief from pressing his teeth against hard objects.
He sits on the couch with a pillow in his lap and rocks back and forth until he calms down. He normally gets between 3 and 7 hours sleep at night - no sleep during the day. When he has one of his spells he throws objects and hits people and acts as though he were in terrible pain.
R2. 9/3/45 Father asked that EC data be sent to Dr. Walter A. Neil, chiropractor and physiotherapist, Washington, D.C., who was interested in carrying out the treatment for [5726]: “I wish you great success in your undertaking and I know that the world will benefit from your findings. I will keep you informed as to the improvements of my son, and if I can be of further help please advise.”
R3. 3/29/50 E.C.F. campaign worker approached the parents re. a contribution to EC work but did not get one.
