R1. 8/21/43 Miss [3336]‘s letter re. her cousin, Mr. […] whom EC knew personally: “Almost a year ago he was released from this boredom and went to join his many loved ones [on the other side], among them his sister [5760] whom you cured of arthritis by a reading which prescribed gold cure. She indignantly refused it and said it was only for drunkards. Later a young foreign doctor turned up in London where she lived, curing arthritis successfully by the gold cure. She took it and remained cured for many years. She later developed heart disease from which she suffered greatly. I don’t know why so sweet a creature had so much karma to pay. She came to see truth to a great extent and was in complete harmony with her brother’s [enlightened] wife.”
