This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 7th day of September, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [578], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mrs. [578].]

Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:10 A. M. Eastern War Time. …, Virginia.

  1. GC: You will answer the questions regarding this body, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [578]; this we have had before.

  3. As we find, there are in many ways improvements. Yet it would be easy for this body to revert to those inflammations that might cause acute conditions.

  4. But if the manipulations generally are kept, and the specific applications to keep down any inflammation, and constantly have the flow of the live vivified tissue through the areas in pelvic organs, these should continue to make for improvements for the body.

  5. Ready for questions.

  6. (Q) How many weeks or months should I continue taking the Glyco-Thymoline Packs and douche, daily? (A) This will depend upon the response. They should be taken until there is no soreness in the pelvic areas, or no discharge in the activities through the vagina, see?

  7. (Q) Is half an hour alright each time for the Packs? (A) Half an hour to forty to fifty to sixty minutes.

  8. (Q) Should they be applied only to abdomen or also to back? (A) Only to the abdomen in this particular case. If these are extended over the pubic center it will aid in relieving those tensions and the drains through the pelvic organs.

  9. (Q) Would it be well to wear a type of corset especially made for women with female trouble? (A) This would be very well a little bit later, not very well in the present.

  10. (Q) Or any internal support (to lift uterus)? (A) Not in the present; this would only tend to produce irritation under the present conditions. But when there is the more correct position, by reducing the tendency for formation of plethora through the areas, the use of a stay - as a support - will be beneficial.

  11. (Q) What is meant by my body needing more rest? Is it alright for me to do my own housework, such as ironing, etc., and then have a rest period during the day, or should I be completely at rest? (A) It would help the more if the body would have complete rest, say for ten days to two weeks, and lie outside in the open - making these applications - and the body would be much better much more quickly! To be sure, it is possible for the body to continue the housework, but the standing on the feet and ironing is another condition. There should not be too much of this. Not that it is to be eliminated entirely - don’t become one that becomes as “nursing” self. Do what you want to do, but don’t overdo any of it.

  12. (Q) Is it harmful to swim? (A) Rather beneficial.

  13. (Q) To dance? (A) That’s another problem! It depends on the kind of dance. If it’s walking or waltzing, that’s easy - that’s good for the body; for not only it takes off the mental strain but it is in keeping with the emotions of the body. Don’t jig or fox trot!

  14. (Q) What can be done to remove the growth on the left eye and also improve the eyesight? (A) The eyesight may be improved mostly by the head and neck exercise. Don’t fool with the growth at the present. A little later it may be taken off best with Spirits of Camphor.

  15. (Q) Is reading harmful to the eyes or should I just read for a short length of time daily? (A) Short length of time daily is preferable, but still don’t become, “Well, I can’t do this,” and “I can’t do that,” and “I can’t do the other,” but do what you wish, but be careful!

  16. (Q) If operation becomes necessary, would it be well to remove the organs? (A) Would be well to remove the organs.

Keep in the mental attitude, however, of being constructive in thought. Not any animosity, nor any feeling sorry for self, or because others are different and are better in any respect enjoying those things that should be a part of thine own. For, in whatever state ye find thyself, or thy brethren either, THAT use to the glory of the Creative Force!

  1. We are through for the present.
