This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of October, 1938, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [578], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mrs. [578], Mrs. [413] and Miss [324].]

Time of Reading 4:05 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions that may be submitted, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [578].

  3. As we find, conditions are much improved; while there might be much desired on the part of the body.

  4. Yet with the proper consideration of all those things which have been given, and with sufficient of the activities in the form of specific exercises that would make for a MOVEMENT of the abdomen and the pelvis, and the lower limbs (in addition to the manipulations that are given occasionally), we find that it will be sufficient to make for an attuning or an active toning of the system in such a manner as to alleviate the disturbing conditions.

  5. Such an exercise would be taken of morning, before arising: Swinging the lower limbs, and making as it were a circular motion with the body arising on its elbows; or, - standing on the shoulders, working the feet up and down as pedaling a bicycle. These taken for three to four minutes will make a great deal of difference in the position, the activity and the feelings of the body. Though it’ll make you sore for the first two or three times, don’t give it up! Be consistent and persistent, and we will find a great deal of help.

  6. Ready for questions.

  7. (Q) Why is it the deafness has not disappeared? [See 578-6, Par. 11-A.] (A) It is disappearing, and there only needs to be the exercises and activities, and the special attentions as indicated, for the continued improvement.

  8. (Q) Were the coccyx treatments given correctly? (A) These are very good, and - as just indicated - now make the exercises of such a nature as to keep these in position, so that when the second or third series are begun again, there will be better conditions existent.

  9. We are through with this Reading.
