R1. GD’s note: Mr. [5783] obtained a reading from Edgar Cayce, according to reports from written accounts of results obtained by citizens of Hopkinsville, Ky. There is no record of a personal reading by him, but he did refer several other people for readings during the years that I was secretary to Edgar Cayce (1923-45). His whole family - wife and several children - obtained readings from Mr. Cayce which are on file, but we do not have one on record for him.
Perhaps he was reporting on results in his family and the one who wrote the record that he was among those in Hoptown who obtained readings just assumed that he received them for himself. I make a note of this, with a Case number for him, just in case a validation turns up later. I can no longer ask him or his wife as they have long since passed on, also his older children - who possibly were born long after 1911 or thereabout anyway.
