This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 14th day of June, 1943 in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [585], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mrs. [585] and Margueritte Bro.]

Time of Reading 3:50 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Va.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [585]; this we have had before.

  3. Many changes have taken place in the general physical and mental forces of this body. Most of these, we find, are for the betterment.

  4. We would keep those same general attitudes towards conditions, individuals, and hopes and fears.

  5. In the physical we would have those adjustments especially in the upper dorsal and through the cervical areas. These will aid in correcting those tendencies for disturbance in the coordinating centers that should coordinate the muscular as well as nerve forces to head, neck, AND the organs of the sensory forces. These, as we find, may be materially aided.

  6. Have at least two series; or about six in each series, three or four months apart. These, we find, will prove for the general welfare and for the welfare of the specific disturbances in the organs of sensory forces, and for the general circulations.

  7. Ready for questions.

  8. (Q) What is causing the hard places or knots to form on or around the joints of my fingers? (A) The lack of the proper eliminations through the general system, and the stimulating of the circulation in the upper dorsal and through the cervical areas should set up better eliminations through the general alimentary canal?

Add to the diet a great deal of water cress and beet tops, and we will find it will change a great deal of these disturbances.

  1. (Q) Should anything specifically be done for the hard place on the joint of my little finger which is now sore? (A) The application of an Epsom Salts Pack will bring relief to this area, but the better eliminations set up in order as indicated will relieve the conditions through the general system.

  2. (Q) Did the other places start in this same manner? (A) Same manner.

  3. (Q) Is it good for me to ride the bicycle, or not? (A) This is not harmful, when not overdone.

  4. (Q) Would it be safe, - that is, not harmful to my health, - for me to donate blood for the Red Cross? (A) It would not be harmful under the present conditions - would be very well.

  5. (Q) Is it harmful to use Odorono, or any depilatory, for excess perspiration under arms? (A) This is not the best, but where these are not carrying any form of lead, they are not harmful to the body.

  6. (Q) What is the best to use? (A) Any that is minus these ingredients.

  7. (Q) What is the best treatment for a pressure sore? (A) That as indicated, in the correcting of those conditions along the dorsal and cervical areas?

  8. (Q) What is best treatment for a bed sore? (I ask this for my patient.) (A) This depends upon the body and upon the general conditions. The best application as a general condition for such is the use of Ichthyol Ointment.

  9. (Q) Any other advice for this body at this time? (A) Keep those mental attitudes, if there would be the better conditions for the body.

Do have those corrections that have been indicated. Do set up better eliminations as given.

  1. We are through with this Reading.
