This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 25th day of February, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [599].

Time of Reading 6:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Alabama.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the improvement of same.

2. EC: Yes, we have had the body here before. Now, we find there are many physical and mental changes in this body since last we had this here. There are some abnormal conditions that may be corrected in this body. These specific conditions have to do with that as dross, as has been accumulating through those conditions as known as catarrhal conditions in the body, and the various effects as have been, and are produced in the body, have to do with the abnormal conditions, physically.

3. Then, the condition as we find in ear, in eyes, the congestion in throat, lungs, from cold, that in stomach and intestine that gives troubles at times, the headaches, as we see, from same catarrhal condition, as goes down or up, depending upon the pressure as is created in the blood supply.

4. Then, to bring the more normal condition to this body, we would have corrected, chiropractically, or osteopathically, those conditions in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th cervical, also in the 9th, 10th dorsal, and the 2nd lumbar; that principally giving the trouble being in the 2nd, 3rd cervical, and in 9th, 10th dorsal, and we would apply those vibrations still from that of the battery as has been given for the body, [Radio-Active Appliance - see 599-1] using that same vibration, though from a two-wired battery, and two bars of iron in the same solution as has been given, attaching one to the wrist, the other to the opposite ankle, see? for hour to two hours each evening, and we will find, with this change, there will come the better conditions for the physical forces of the body.

5. In the mental there is much of that development coming to the body as has been outlined for the body, in the manner, in the way, in which the subliminal self may gain that insight into those of the unseen forces; yet the entity should weigh well all these conditions, making them compatible with the tenets of the I AM from within, and the I AM that rules the Universal forces. We are through for the present.

R1. 4/5/26 “Have made the battery, am using it now. Expect to get with the chiropractor within the next ten days [D. Carl Thompson, D.C.]. And referring to the pyorrhea medicine [Ipsab] I must have more - can’t do without it.”

R2. 5/2/26 “I am carrying out the instructions of the last rdg., have taken 7 adjustments up to now - use the battery regularly.”

R3. 5/28/26 “Have taken 22 adjustments - will finish next week, and of course am using the battery as instructed. My ears are yet ringing, not so loud - have been benefited. I think after finishing with the chiropractor I will go back to the telegraph battery as recommended in first rdg. [599-1] It did me more good than anything, is easy to use and I believe it would have cured me if I had been able to follow it up. As I was doing, it was wrong. You know the plate was to be applied to the 6th dorsal on the 5th night. I have learned which is the 6th dorsal from the chiropractor, and I never did put the plate on it the whole time I was able to use the battery. Do you think this would be a good plan now?”

R5. 9/12/26 “My ears, I am proud to say, are greatly improved, but still ringing - not so loud, and I have hopes of eventually being clear entirely of any noise in the ear… I hear better, such as the sliding of a pencil on paper when writing, the scratch of a pen. Some things I have not heard for years, and in May I heard whippoorwills for the first time in 20 years. I am delighted there is not the sound of the anvil on my present job.

“And I still have my teeth - that is, all that were in my mouth when I got my first sample of pyorrhea cure [Ipsab]. One was very loose at the time but has tightened up to where I use it continually.”

“P.S. Am enclosing $1 to pay postage, etc. Please send me some more pyorrhea remedy [Ipsab]. I am keeping in use several dead teeth, several that are worn to the quick and two that were loosened by pyorrhea to where they could not be used.”

R6. 10/3/26 “Am using the battery prescribed in the last rdg. and am glad to report a very pronounced improvement in my throat and, naturally, think the ears and eyes are getting the same help though not so easy to note… I have for several years wanted to go back west, where I have lived and where I got that cough that is leaving me now after 40 yrs., but have decided that I would not find anyone I knew and the country would not look like it does in my memory, so have decided to hold to the memories of the west of the past and spend any vacation I may get in the east.”

R7. 11/27/26 “I am so delighted to be clear of that forty yr. old cough I just had to write you about it. Ears are ringing yet but I still have confidence in the battery.”

R8. 12/20/26 “Am yet using the batteries. The ringing is worse at times - shows there is some change taking place. Enclosed find money order for $25 as a donation.”

R9. 2/16/27 “I yet have my head noises - guess I have not carried out the instructions properly or my condition has changed - perhaps both or more. It has been a year since my last rdg. I feel like I need another one.” [He requested Physical Rdg. for his friend, Mr. [4874].]
