This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 24th day of August, 1934, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [601], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., through her daughter Miss [480].

Time of Reading 11:20 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Mich. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [601]; this we have had before.
-
As we find, there are changes in the physical forces of the body; some exaggerations of those conditions where eliminations have been set up and the activities have been rather indiscreet in the diet and in activity in keeping with those applications that have been made. Hence we have an acute condition in congestion and the tendency for the creation of inflammation in the lymph, and especially in the circulation through the hepatics; making for a congestion there, as well as a poor circulation in the soft tissue of the throat and head.
-
First we would have a thorough elimination through the alimentary canal, using not such a severe method but in this manner:
-
Take first a tablespoonful of Milk of Magnesia. Then in the evening or morning, dependent upon the time the Magnesia is taken, we would take two CAROID and Bile Salts tablets.
-
Then we would have this prepared as an expectorant and as an aid to the eliminations in the alimentary canal (and this would be a very good cough syrup for anyone to have!):
-
To 4 ounces of compound Simple Syrup, add - IN THE ORDER NAMED:
Eucalyptol, Oil of…20 minims, Syrup of Rhubarb…1/4 ounce, Syrup of White Pine…1/4 ounce, Glycerine…20 minims, Chloroform…5 minims.
Shake the solution together before the dosage is taken, which would be a teaspoonful every two to three hours.
-
Do this.
-
Ready for questions.
-
We are through with this reading.
