This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of August, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - through his wife, Mrs. [601], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. EC: We have the body here, [619].

2. The conditions arising in the present, as we find, are rather acute; from toxic forces in the system; being reflex from a condition existent in the COLON area, where there are toxic forces, though these have been cleansed in a manner.

3. So first we would begin with high enemas to cleanse this whole portion of the system. Make these high COLONIC irrigations, not just small enemas! They should be HIGH enemas! Give one the very first thing; then after the second day give another; continuing in this manner but gradually getting farther apart, until we cleanse this portion of the system.

4. We would add also with same the manipulations to set up general drainages in the system; specific centers being, then, those in the upper dorsal area, only coordinating the coccyx centers and the vagus centers with the alleviating of the pressure in the upper dorsal area.

5. We would first paint those areas in the right shoulder and arm, and in the portion of the hip, with a solution made from three parts Laudanum to one part Aconite. THEN apply over the same areas a saturated solution of Epsom Salts in packs.

6. Be mindful of the diet that rather predigested foods are used for a few days.

7. And we will find these conditions will disappear.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) What is the trouble in the left leg? (A) Neuritis!

Do these things as indicated, and we will find we will remove these disorders.

R1. 9/4/35 Wife [601]‘s letter: “Have given Mr. [619] the packs and laudanum-aconite painting and the pain in his shoulder has become quite lessened. With all the excitement and rushing of last week (daughter [480]‘s wedding, etc.) over, he will be able to give himself more time for the colonics and osteopathy.”

R2. 9/13/35 “Mr. [619] has had relief from the packs and is watching his diet… He has to go out of town on business, therefore am tagging along with him trying to make myself useful by helping to drive. Being with him keeps me from worrying about him while he has to take long trips by motor car.”

R3. 10/27/35 He referred Mrs. [1069] for readings.

R4. 11/24/35 He was present for his Ck. Physical 619-4.
