This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 29th day of October, 1937, in accordance with request made by the wife - Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 3:50 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [633]; this we have had before.

  2. As we find, conditions are very good in many respects; better in many ways than we have had here before.

  3. However, as we find, through the cerebrospinal system, along the areas of the 8th, 9th and 10th dorsal, there have been muscular strains.

  4. These as we find would be materially aided, and prevent disturbing conditions later, if there were corrective measures osteopathically given; but use the ultra-violet ray WITH same also - preferably the HEAT ray, rather than the carbon light or the mercury light. Use then the heat OR the mercury light, which is preferable to the carbon light for this particular condition.

  5. Well that there be manipulations given, and adjustments first, THEN the light, THEN a GENTLE massage or muscular massage after the light.

  6. We would keep the precautions as to diet.

  7. And the activities in the open are well.

  8. Ready for questions.

  9. (Q) Was this caused by strain in lifting? (A) A strain.

  10. (Q) Was there any other injury? (A) This would be enough if allowed to run on!

  11. (Q) Any special diet? (A) Along the line as we have indicated. Keep away from too many starches.

  12. (Q) Has the condition cleared up with reference to the sphincter muscles, the colon? (A) These are much better.

  13. (Q) Any other advice? (A) These we would do as we have indicated, in the present.

  14. We are through with this Reading.
