GC: You will give a full and complete reading on the physical conditions of this body. You will examine it thoroughly, diagnose the case thoroughly and tell us the conditions you find at the present time. Also giving the cause of the existing conditions, with suggestions for the treatment and cure of this body.

EC: Now we find there are a great many changes in the body since last we had it.

Now these are the physical conditions as we find them in this body at the present time. First:

IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find very good in many respects yet an abnormal pressure in the system, which causes some distress through the vasomotor system, especially in the region about the upper portion of the heart region, or that of the returning of blood supply from lung to heart’s action.

IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find the body taxed in many centers, and real distress caused in portions of body through these taxed centers and plexus regions. The greater condition of taxation being in the lower dorsal (12th) and the 3rd and 4th lumbar region, and affect reflexly the condition as is shown in the cardiac region. Hence a lesion of character in the 3rd and 4th dorsal region, from which the condition in pulmonaries and vasomotor regions gains much of the reflex condition, producing also the relaxing of the nerve in the manner that causes the pressure in heart’s action.

The region of the intestinal tract through mesenteric system, and the pressure caused in the false pelvis region through lesions there produce much of the trouble. We find, too, there are some conditions in the pelvis that need local treatments. These would be the greater distress, were they allowed to remain, unless the system was adjusted in the manner that would give the better eliminations in body. This we find in the vagina proper and about the womb. These lacerations as show adhesions in portions need to be treated locally. This produces the nerve strain and the pressure as is produced in false pelvis, and the reactions through the plexuses of the cerebrospinal system are the manifestations of these local conditions. Hence inflammation is produced through the mesenteric system and this reflexly acts on the digestive tract; this producing the condition in digestion at times, producing an abnormal appetite for those properties that but add fire to the already abnormal condition in the digestive system, above intestinal tract. Hence the pains as are produced, and the overtaxing of the whole mesenteric system.

IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces very good.

Functioning of the organs throughout the system, little organic condition, save as is produced sympathetically or reflexly through the condition in pelvis and in the nerve plexuses of the body.

Then to reduce these conditions, and to bring the body to the normal forces, we would, locally, treat those conditions in pelvis regions with that of the nature and character that cleanses and straightens, and relieves the lesions formed, and deep osteopathic manipulation in the system to break up the lesions as are formed in lumbar, in dorsal, and equalize circulation throughout the body. The applications for the pelvic regions may be made by the same treatments.

I would not ask you to do this now again so soon except that I believe so firmly that there is something wrong with my body and I know where the pain is but don’t know what to do or what causes the pain. I have never consulted a physician, the main reason because I don’t believe they would know much better than I do. So when it suits you the best I wish you would give the rdg. for me, and some time I hope to make the compensation.”
