GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [667].
-
There is a great deal of change and difference in the general physical reactions of the body in the present from those as we have had here before.
-
Some, of course, have been changes in the mental, some in the physical, and in the general attitudes of the body itself.
-
As we find in the present, there needs to be the greater consideration given to the lack of the vitality and strength to the body. These as we find are in such an indeterminate manner in the present, - as the pains through the small of the back, through the areas across the lumbar. Here we should have some adjustments. Not a great deal would be necessary, but two or three PROPERLY given should be sufficient.
-
Then, take Codiron AS a tonic. This for this body would be taken one tablet in the beginning at each meal taken, - not after or before, but DURING the meal, - for the first ten days. Then take two at each meal for the next ten days. Then leave off for five days, and then begin with the one tablet at each meal for ten days. And then for the next ten days take two at each meal, and so on.
-
These should bring a great deal of strength and vitality, for they are those influences that should cause a more and a better supply of blood, which is lacking, - which causes the fullness or the pains about the heart, the chest, the lack of the ability to sleep or rest well of evenings, and the general tired, achey conditions of evening or of night.
-
Do these and, as we find, we would bring the better influences and forces for this body.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Are the kidneys alright? (A) The stress that is produced there is from the pressures that should be removed by the gentle but deep manipulations through ALL of the cerebrospinal system. Some three or four SHOULD make for proper corrections, if they are properly done!
-
(Q) What causes pain around the heart? (A) As has just been indicated, weakness and lack of the proper assimilation and eliminations, and the general debilitation.
-
(Q) Are there any tubercular germs present in the body? (A) We do not find tubercular germs.
-
(Q) Are cigarettes harmful to the body at this time? (A) For this body, cigarettes are HARMFUL!
-
(Q) Are any of these conditions brought on the body by childbirth? (A) The weak conditions, to be sure, or lack of the blood supply.
-
(Q) What should the diet be? (A) All those foods that are body-building. Plenty of fish, fowl and lamb, and every sort of vegetable that agrees with the body.
-
(Q) Whom would you suggest to make the corrections? (A) Whoever is desired by the body. But choose one that will give a thorough, general treatment, making the corrections in the lumbar and sacral areas.
-
We are through with this Reading.

Mrs. [667] …, Va. PLEASE FORWARD
Dear Mrs. [667] -
We are undertaking one of the most important projects ever started by our Association, which is studying and presenting my father’s work. You can have a very real part in this work.
From your files I find that my father has given twelve Physical Readings for you. We do not have a report on any of these Readings. I am sure that each Reading contains one or more points that would prove valuable as evidence for the value of such information. For example, we should like to know - in specific detail - just what points were covered in your Readings which you found to be accurate as to your physical condition. We should also like to know what results you obtained in following each set of suggestions in each Reading. Obviously you derived benefit from these Readings, for the first one was given in 1934 and the last one in 1939. Thus, over a period of five years, you have used this information in meeting difficult conditions in your physical body. In other words, you are an individual who has had considerable experience with this work, and you are thus in a position to make observations regarding its value that would be of help in completing our records. Will you please take each one of the Readings and go over it, see just wherein it fitted you, and try to remember what results you obtained? Write us fully as to your conclusions, outlining the whole history of your case and the results to date. We are enclosing a Blank which you may use for this purpose, but I hope that you will make the report far more comprehensive and complete than is indicated by the space on the Blank.
We are enclosing a leaflet which will outline our 1940 Expansion Program. I know that you will want to have a part, however small, in making this project a reality. It means a great deal in the preservation and the scientific presentation of my father’s work. We need your cooperation, and an expression of interest from you, for all those whom you meet who know of this work.
Let us hear from you.
Sincerely, Hugh Lynn Cayce, Manager hlc:gd
