Date: 1/10/1935 Sex: M Age: 34 ReadingID: 4545

This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 10th day of January, 1935, in accordance with request made by the father, Mr. […], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Ellsworth Garrison, Myrtle Demaio, Helen Ellington, Ruth LeNoir, Mildred Davis and L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [716]; and this we have had before.

  2. Now, as we find, there are not the indications outwardly of an improvement in any PERCEPTIBLE manner. Yet, with the application of those things indicated (that is, with the rubs, with the appliance, with the activities physically and mentally), there IS being brought about that which has been HELPFUL.

  3. And if the body loses patience with self, then that which has been indicated for the body is not to be the proper direction taken!

  4. But there should be the persistence; for the conditions have been - as has been given - not only of long duration but there have been the attempts on the part of the body physically and mentally to ADJUST itself to the deficiencies that have existed!

  5. Give the TIME! Be PATIENT! You’ve had years and YEARS of the disturbance. Don’t expect it to be cured in a moment and be of a permanent nature. For the body, the life, the whole of every entity IS a GROWTH; and unless it is of such a growth that it is stable, it isn’t worth very much!

  6. Be patient. Be consistent. Be persistent. And follow those suggestions that HAVE been made. And we will find help.

  7. Ready for questions.

  8. We are through with this reading.
