1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [717]; this we have had before.

2. While there apparently is little or no change since last we had same here, as we find, from the internal and from the radial activity of the energies in the body, there ARE some improvements. Or at least there has been kept that activative in the influence of the body which has been helpful and hopeful.

3. We do not find that we would make any definite changes in the present in the administrations for the body. We WOULD be more consistent with the use of the radial active forces that have been indicated for the body in the battery, keeping these in order; that is, keeping the anodes or plates cleansed, keeping the solutions in their proper relation ships. For these act with the electrical forces of the body.

4. We would keep the massage of a general nature as indicated. We would also keep those adjustments that are necessary to relieve the distresses in the areas where there have been and are those tendencies for the prevention of the superficial and deeper circulation activative to the extremities and along the cerebrospinal system.

5. Then, we would keep that which has been indicated also as to the diets; that these are more alkalin in their reaction, for the natural sedentary activity from inaction in the system tends to make for the poor circulation and eliminations of poisons which become acid in their reaction.

7. (Q) Why hasn’t the body responded more? (A) Not the consistency in those applications that have been indicated, nor has there been the proper concept of that which is to be accomplished by the low electrical vibrations. For these will only be activative when each of the attachments to the appliance is in order, and when there is the proper coordination by the massage of the body. It is not something that will just sit and work like anything that is fire itself; but it is a slow radial reaction.

8. (Q) How long a period should this treatment be followed now? (A) If it requires that it be done for sixty years, do it! If it requires six days, do it - TO BRING the results! These must either be properly administered or improperly administered! And when these are given properly they WILL bring results!

Virginia Beach, Va.

Dear Dr. Johnson;-

“Yours of recent date received just a few hours after we had gotten the reading but hope all the questions were answered at least full enough for you to get some results soon, know these good people have had a time getting straight on the manner in which to use the battery, and apparently they are not getting the results they should as yet, now Dr. we have never had more than one or two instances where people haven’t gotten results where these batterys have been given, and they were from not using them properly, so would you be so kind as to look into this for me see just how they make the application, how often and whether they keep the little plates clean or not that is very necessary, then let me hear from you about it all, for I believe we can be of some help there. Was certainly surprised to hear Dr. Brenner had gone back to N.C. Suppose he has been among the Tar Heels so long couldn’t get away, well hope he does fine.

Let me hear from you Dr.”

Mr. Edgar Cayce, Dayton, Ohio

Dear Sir:

“First I will introduce myself to you before writing. I am Mrs. […]. No doubt you will remember the Psychic reading on my body, Nov. 4 1934 requested by my Husband, recommended by Drs. W. I. Johnson and Ed Brenner. This is just a friendly letter to let you know I’m still interested and living each day on the diet you requested, the Atomidine drops as directed and by the way I found a Drugist here in Dayton that handles Atomidine that’s why I don’t send to you for same. I’m taking the Epsom Salts bath’s regularly and I can stay in 40 min. Also the battery you suggested. I started using the battery Jan. 1 - 35 with the exception of two nights that was beyond my control and then to the 1st of each month my Husband recharges the battery. Of course I have always taken my adjustments from Dr. Johnson. Do you think I’m expecting results too soon? YOUR READING was so true to my body. My faith in Dr. Johnson and his RECOMMENDING YOU to us I can not help but think I’m on the right track. Is there any other suggestion you might make or should I keep on as usual? I greatly appreciate all the bulletins I receive from the Association. I read them each and everyone. I wish I was able to attend some of the meetings.

Dr. Johnson is away at school now until the 19th of this mo. I have a rowing machine so that way I can keep up my exercise while he’s gone. Now I will finish [by] sending both my Husband and my best regards,”

R4. 8/19/35 “I received your kind and quick reply to my letter of the 13th. I will mention same to Dr. Johnson. I feel quite capable in answering for him about the Check Reading. I will tell him tonight, the 23rd between 10:30 and 11:30 O’clock Eastern Standard Time. Of course you know that stands for me also. You ask if I had any specific questions to submit that applies to my husband and the Dr. as well: Why? Do I lack my equilibrium Will I walk again? I seem to be quite a problem to all concern.
