1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [728].

2. As has just been given, while the outward appearances do not indicate that there has been a great improvement, those conditions in the area as indicated - as to the incoordinations between the sympathetic and cerebro-spinal that make for the contraction and the loosening, or those spasmodic reactions in the system - are being changed. And, as we have indicated, these periods may be expected to come and go.

3. When such periods do occur, it would be well that there be the resorting to the tablets which prevent the reactions, or which act as a sedative and thus allay the number of reactions by the relaxing of the nerve impulse; but tend to make for the lack of activity through the regular eliminating systems - and create quantities of poisons. Hence we would continue with the packs and with the irrigations, and with those things that tend to make for an activity of eliminating through the alimentary canal.

4. When these attacks come on, it is well that something very warm be put across the lumbar plexus and something cold at the base of the brain - or the two axes of the system. This will prevent falling, or losing total consciousness.

5. We would follow those outlines as given. After the adhesions are broken up, we will find these periods will be farther and farther apart - that have recently been the experience of the body.

6. Don’t give up hope and resort to measures that only are palliatives and are not reaching to the base or the cause of the troubles. Ready for questions. We are through for the present.

Dear Mr. Cayce,

“I thank you very much for your great interest in my condition. Your valuable advice has helped us a great deal. I am only sorry that we were forced to bother you so much.

Since your last reading arrived my condition outwardly has seemed to improved a great deal. Because of this improvement I have decided to take a special course in high school which will enable me to stay in school for only a few hours, a day. I hope this will be agreeable to you.

My appetite has also improved a great deal.

Best regards from Mother and Dad.”

R2. 3/2/35 EC’s letter to [728]:

“Thanks for yours of Feb. 2nd but as you know we were in Washington and was kept so busy have had little or no time to write as I should. Am very happy to know you were feeling so much better and hope you have continued on the improve, and are able to keep up your school work. Think this is very fine and is certainly the thing for you to do does your health permit, and the very best way to know that is to make the attempt.

Perhaps we will be in N.Y. again the next month or such a matter and surely want to see you good people if we do.

Thank you for letting me hear from you, and don’t think you are a bother at any time, always glad to hear from you and know you can call on me at any time you like.
