This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 10th day of April, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [750], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., through his brother, Dr. [438].

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [750]; this we have had before.

3. While there are a great many changes in the body since last we had same here, the conditions existing in the present have a connection with those conditions which existed in the throat and neck at that time. However, their activity in the present is upon the glandular forces, and the liver and kidney areas - or that circulation between these; so that this unbalancing of the eliminations and poisons and excesses that should be eliminated through one channel is at times causing those disturbances in the functioning and the activity of others.

4. Thus those effects produced in the metabolism of the body, as well as the activity of the organs, - lungs, heart, liver and kidneys, in relation to this disorder - as well as the superficial circulation that becomes involved in the disorder at times.

5. As we find, for an hour each day we would apply the Castor Oil Packs - regularly - for at least three days in succession. Use three to four thicknesses of flannel thoroughly saturated with the hot Castor Oil, covering with an electric pad to keep same warm for at least an hour at the time.

6. On the third evening, following the third Castor Oil Pack, you see, take internally at least two tablespoonsful of Olive Oil.

7. The next day, or the day after (depending upon the feelings of the body, or the reaction from the applications, you see) we would have a colonic irrigation to remove all the disorders from the colon areas.

8. Then, after allowing something like four or five days to elapse, repeat the whole procedure; the Castor Oil Packs for three days, followed by the Olive Oil and then the colonic.

9. Continue in this manner for some several complete series, and we will find a response, and a helpful force for the body.

10. After each colonic, - or during each rest period between the series, - we would have a general massage and the light treatment of the Ultra-Violet, with the green glass projected between same and the body.

11. Be mindful of the diets; not too much of greases or fats, nor carbonated drinks of any kind - for these disturb that equilibrium necessary to be established between the liver and kidneys.

14. (Q) Just what is the underlying cause of the disturbance? (A) As just described - the unbalancing of that circulation between the liver and kidneys, produced by the poisons not being eliminated when there were those sources of disorders in throat and head, and the effect these have produced upon the central circulation, - heart, liver, lungs, kidneys. All become involved in the condition.

Do as outlined and we will have help for the body.

R1. 4/15/43 “Many thanks for the rdg. of April 10, the report of which I just rec’d. I believe you have probably found the cause of my trouble. One thing is not quite clear. Over what region should the hot castor oil packs be placed? Over the liver, the kidneys or both? Or just over the intestines? A case history of myself is a long report to make but I will gladly send you that information. I would greatly appreciate a hurried answer to the above questions as I am anxious to start treatment. Once again many thanks for your kindness and let me assure you I will keep you informed of progress.”

R2. 4/19/43 EC’s letter: “Thanks for yours of the 15th - feel very sure you yourself can tell better than any one else whether the information is about you, or might fit any one, but as said if it is you, do by all means give the suggestions a fair chance.

“Think the Oil Packs are to be put over the Liver Area, while this is a something of a messy procedure it has where given proven to be a most effective one. Think when you get the congestion out of this area with the Olive Oil and have a good colonic, you will in a few weeks feel like a new man.

“Will be anxious to hear how you come along, but be sure and do as suggested, not over do it nor under do it.

“Thank you and hoping to have been the means of a help.”

R3. 6/10/47 Dr. [438] requested copy of 750-1 and 750-2.

R4. 4/12/59 Dr. [438] reported (see complete statement under 750-1 Reports): “Today [750] is vigorous and healthy and putting in a good day’s work, and has had no recurrence of that disease of 25 yrs. ago.”

R5. 6/23/65 GD’s note: I sent Dr. [750] a questionnaire to be filled out and returned regarding his condition at the time of 750-2 and at the present time.

“I have been ailing for about seven years, and of course during that time I have seen numerous doctors. I am sorry to say that none have been of very much help. Each time I have tried a new doctor. I have made it a point to tell him nothing of my condition and see what he determines from his own observation. If you are agreeable, I would like to follow the same procedure with you.

“I have no particular questions to ask. What I hope and pray the reading will tell me is just what the underlying cause of the disturbance is, and what can be done to correct the condition…

“I shall be praying that the extraordinary powers you possess will outline a course of procedure that will help me regain my former good health. Many thanks for your kindness.”
