This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of January, 1936, in accordance with request made by the husband - Mr. [776], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Dr. King’s Hosp., Time of Reading Maple Ave., Bay 9:00 to 9:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Shore, L.I. …, N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have had the body here before.

2. Conditions, as we find in the present, are acute; from cold, congestion, or flu. And the pulmonaries throughout are very much FILLED with the phlegm, or the ATTEMPTS of the lymph to throw off or to meet the congestion.

3. Hence we have an inflammation, as well as the influenza germs.

4. As we find in the present:

5. Immediately we would give, first, the Ultra-Violet Ray treatment, from one and a half to three minutes, over the rear portion - of course - of the lung area.

6. In a pint of boiling water, in the room, as in a croup cup, put a teaspoonful of each of these - in the order named:

Eucalyptol, Compound Tincture of Benzoin, Oil of Turp.

7. Let this be not too close to the body, but in the room where the fumes will be inhaled or BREATHED IN by the body.

8. If this does not relax the body, it will be necessary then to use - later, early in the morning - the Oxygen.

9. Do that.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) Should the Ultra-Violet Ray be used just the once? (A) Unless it becomes necessary to use it again, because of the choking - or the very weakness.

Of course, the citrus fruits and the liquid diet should be kept.

Also, of course, the eliminations should be opened.

Do this.

For the body will pass through the crisis in the morning, or the early portion of the morrow.
