This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 10th day of February, 1930, in accordance with request made by those in charge.

Time of Reading Cayce Hospital, 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Virginia Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestions)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [758]. This we have had before. In some respects we find the conditions NOT so good at the present. The cold, the congestion, as is coordinating with the conditions as have been set up in the hypogastrics, cause irritation to the stomach; upsetting the stomach, also producing some temperature in the system. These we would reduce by alcoholic rubs. We would also give doses of saltine crackers with soda in the system, that the eliminations may be made more alkalin.

2. We would be more careful in the applications as are given in the neck and head, and we would stimulate much in the lower portions of the SOLAR PLEXUS centers, that the ELIMINATIONS through the lower portions of the intestinal system are bettered. These done, and we will find conditions will be bettered in this body.

3. There is an overcharge of something that has been given in one of the batteries. These should be changed to conform to those first as were given, for the two characters in the system are not compatible one with another, as has been RECENTLY used in these. Be mindful of this! Do that. Ready for questions.

4. (Q) Which battery? (A) The wet battery.

5. (Q) Would it be safe for mother to leave body with nurse at hospital and for how long? (A) Wait until he’s better!

6. (Q) Why were glasses strengthened if eyes were better? (A) We are correcting those of the nerves as are infringed by the condition as has existed, and this is to pull them straighter!

7. (Q) Were eggnogs harmful? and in what form can eggs be given? (A) In milk, or in beer, or such. The eggnog, not so good. stimuli of spirits frumenti with any form of electricity in the system ISN’T very good. MUST be upsetting to the gastric juices of the stomach itself; formation of gases come from same, for in the duodenum we find there are many tiny nerve centers as are IRRITATED by the vibrations as are set with the battery vibrations in the system, and this - in that form - harmful. In the applications of the battery, these should be as ORIGINALLY given! Don’t change it unless we give it! WE can see it!

8. (Q) In what way have battery treatments not conformed to that as has been given? (A) In the manner as of the connections to same to the body. These should be kept in conformity to that given, in the manner and way it charges itself - this to be kept to itself, too, as has been first outlined. Do that, THAT way. We have given it right! DO it right!

9. (Q) Are treatments being given properly with the exception of the battery? (A) Save as has been outlined as regarding manipulations here in the upper portion, or be mindful of those as are given in the cervical - for, remember, there was often given that, even though it was seen that corrections must be made, those in the lower portion must conform more to the vibrations and more to the conditions in the system - than making so MANY corrections in upper portion until the lower portion of system was able to take care of these. The body’s on the improve! but let’s don’t UNDO it!
