This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the David E. Kahn home, 44 West 77th St., Apt. 14-W, New York City, this 5th day of April, 1935, in accordance with request made by the mother Mrs. [903], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 11:50 to 11:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body; this we have had before, [759]. In this body we find some improvements in some ways; yet we find there are distresses that arise from infectious forces to the lymph and emunctory circulation, from temperature. Precautions should be taken respecting this settling in the throat, either from an overacidity or from cold or congestion that would arise from fanning in too much of a draft or from getting the feet damp.

2. We will find it will be necessary either for the removing of the tonsils or for the corrections as indicated in the cerebrospinal system, that would make for the activities in the system such as to relieve these pressures and allow the growth along the pineal also.

3. As to those infections forces that arise from the skin eruption, or the warts, these have not changed; for the material activities in the absorption and assimilation have not been as thorough as necessity would demand to relieve these conditions through such manners. In the present we would give that there be used - but not on too many at once - a twenty percent (20%) solution of Hydrochloric Acid, C.P. Just a touch with a straw - broom straw dipped in this. It will remove them.

4. In the matter of the diet, keep towards the more alkalin- reacting foods. And it would be well that the strengthening influences be given in that called Ventriculin, without iron (not with iron, so long as the body is feed as it is). This given occasionally would be very well for the body; but give half the dosage as prescribed on the bottle, two or three times a week.

5. (Q) Any other suggestions for this body? (A) We would do these in the present.

R1. GD’s note: Mrs. [903] told me later that she had not given [759] the Ventriculin, since she did not like the idea of giving him the internal organs of swine.

R2. 4/27/35 Mr. [257]‘s letter: “The boys ([759] and [773]) are out again and building up [from colds, etc]. I see in tonight’s paper where the doctors recommend the pineal gland adjustment at the place where the neck joins the chest, so [759] is next in line.”

R3. 4/29/35 EC’s ltr.: “Glad to know the boys are out again and getting along nicely. I don’t know why it took so long for some other source to verify what the readings have given for several years regarding [759]‘s neck. But possibly in their own good time such things come about.”

R4. 9/1/35 - 9/7/35 - Mr. [257] wrote asking for a Ck. Physical for [759], but for some reason the appointment was not verified: “Dr. William B. Allen, 410 Park Ave., N.Y.C., wants to do the tonsillotomy on the 10th or 11th. Is he the best man to do the work? He wants to do the work in the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Nose Hospital and [759] to stay all night and alone. Is that satisfactory? What day next week best for operation? What will remove warts from both hands and legs? We have tried the 20% hydrochloride and the Castor Oil and many other things - why haven’t they been effective? Should we allow Dr. William Berg to use the needle or the lights?”

R5. 12/14/35 Mr. [257]‘s ltr.: “I don’t know whether I told you or not that [759] broke his arm over three weeks ago and yesterday he was in bed with 104 temperature, so you see we have continually had trouble.”

R6. 12/28/35 “[759] is better.”

R7. 3/29/36 “[759] has been ill…out of a clear sky last night [773] said to [903], ‘Mother, when is Mr. Cayce coming - I am so lonesome for him.’ My, what a boy! [759] is always talking of the readings. Well, you have two real lovers and pals in those two, and you should have heard [903] with [1113]. Well, you have an institution in this household.”
