This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the Washington Hotel, Room 1105, Chicago, Ill., this 19th day of July, 1924, in accordance with request made by her niece - Mrs. [538].

1. EC: Now, we find conditions in this body at the present time are quite different from that as we had before. There are some specific conditions at the present time that are causing the distress in the system, though that producing same has been of long standing, and is in the condition of the eliminations as exercised in the system, and the condition has been aggravated by conditions that have arisen physically and mentally. The nausea as caused at the present time being from the effect of poisons in the system and the exercising of the physical body unduly causing the hypogastric and pneumogastric centers in their juncture to become surcharged, and give an excess of that condition in the system. The liver clogged. The circulation in the hepatics being high, the scars as we have had in times back from adhesions in the intestinal tract have again become disturbed. The circulation in exterior portions and in capillaries, especially the limbs, are giving the distress in these portions, especially in the left limb.

2. To relieve the condition at the present time, we would, through osteopathic forces, relax the condition in the solar plexus region, giving in the system those properties that will cleanse the intestinal tract and alleviate the system of the poisons. With the stimulation in the osteopathic forces, in the lower dorsal region, we will reduce the condition and bring the better forces to the body. It will take time to give the system that incentive to bring the proper eliminations. This may be effected through the osteopathic forces and through the vibratory forces in the deep violet ray forces to the body.

3. Do that, [760]. We are through.

R1. 7/13/24 Mrs. [760] asked for a Ck. Physical, saying: “Your reading described my condition perfectly and I am carrying out the treatment exactly as suggested [with the help of Lyman A. Lydic, D.O.]. I am much better but would like you to check on my condition to make sure I am doing all I should.”

B1. In May 1908 Mrs. [760]‘s husband, Dr. [5618], requested a rdg. for her, saying that Dr. Haggard and all the local doctors thought she had a tumor of the abdomen.

EC’s rdg. (of which we have no copy) reportedly said there was no tumor but that she was pregnant, and the trouble was a locked bowel. Warm oil enemas and some other things were suggested. Dr. [5618] said: “I’m going to try these things

• we’ll see what happens.”

Later he reported: “You were right about the locked bowel. She’s better now. But I don’t see how it can be a pregnancy

• she’s not supposed to be able to have children.”

B2. On 11/21/08 Mrs. [760]‘s son, [1005], a seven months’ baby, was born. Dr. J. B. Jackson was the attending physician.

B3. Mrs. [760] later obtained rdgs. for her son, [1005], and for her husband, Dr. [5618].

B4. 1/24/21 Her sister, Mrs. [265], in an affidavit, wrote: “My sister, Mrs. [760], in a most serious condition, was entirely restored without an operation, after doctors, including specialists, said it was her only chance.”

B5. GD’s note: Mrs. [760] may have had other readings prior to 760-1, but we have no copies in our files.

B6. 7/15/24 Mrs. [760]‘s niece, Mrs. [538], wrote EC that Mrs. [760] was unable to get out of bed due to a lumbago and sciatica condition causing her much suffering, and she requested a rdg. as quickly as possible.
