This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 22nd day of September, 1928, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [760].

Time of Reading 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: We have the body here - this we have had before. Now, we find there are still those aggravating conditions as produce gas and the acidity, or super-acidity, throughout the system; caused most at present from conditions of the liver in ITS activity in the system. Worry and the action of the system towards KEEPING the system in that condition where the acidity is reduced, brings the greater distresses to the system. We would use that as would AROUSE the liver to activity at present. PREFERABLY, as we find, would be in this: At least TWO doses, and this in each dose:

Podophyllum…1/2 grain, Leptandrin…1 grain, Senna…1/2 grain, Sanguinaria…1/2 grain.

2. This should be taken preferably one day apart; that is, one day elapsing between each dose. Then continue with those properties that will reduce acidity in the body, being careful of the diet. ALSO giving plenty of the oil, that, that as is begun by the action of Podophyllum and Senna may be kept in the activity of the liver. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) What should the body eat? (A) That that will be easily assimilated. What it may eat one time it may not eat another. Necessary that the body FEEL, as it were, itself out as concerning those things that will agree or disagree. Nothing that carries an over amount of GREASE will ever agree until the liver and the hepatic circulation is more active. No matter whether it be those of high starches, or proteins. EITHER may disagree if they carry an over amount of grease.

4. (Q) Should the body take a purgative of any kind after the capsules are taken? (A) Provided sufficient of the laxative as PRODUCES non-acidity, not necessary. Only take a larger dose of that, see?

5. (Q) The olive oil? (A) Olive oil and Magnesia.

6. (Q) Is it best for her to keep up the osteopathic treatments? (A) Best to keep up osteopathic treatments; for, in manipulation we have that that will nearer bring a normal vibration from nerve centers and reflexes than we have from medicinal properties. Medicinal properties (or drugs) only exercise or EXCITE centers, while MANIPULATIONS will give the nominal reflex and IMPULSES. Naturally, then, best to keep these up, as was given.

7. (Q) Every day or every other day? (A) Every other day. Same time is best - each day. We are through for the present.
