This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 105th Street & Ocean, Virginia Beach, Va., this 13th day of October, 1931, in accordance with request made by her brother, Mr. [311].

1. EC: (Locating body - Leonora Margaret […]. GC: It’s […] Margaret […]. EC: There’s a Leonora here too!)

2. We have the body coming here - this we have had before. The response in some of the treatments or corrections that have been made for the body, has not been as well as it MIGHT have been. Lack of the proper cooperation with that as has been outlined; while the LATTER treatments as have been given the body are the better - THESE we would carry out - we will find that those conditions as to the activities of the kidneys, those conditions as to the pulsations and the vibrations for the circulation, will all show for an improvement.

3. The general mental attitudes of the body have been somewhat better. While these may be described as OVER-anxiety, over-exultant forces in the system, but with the unfoldments as will come, with the physical conditions being on the improve, we will find the whole attitude, whole awakening of the body-mental AND physical, will be much better. It will make it much easier for the body in the studies, and in its application to that as necessary or needful for this unfoldment. Where studies become too much of a drudge, don’t force self too much - but be the control even of the mind, rather than any desires from without controlling the body! Make the self do that what it WANTS to do! Know that the body is thine. Know that the mind is thine. Make its will one with that as is set as the body’s ideal, and make them conform to those rules and regulations of THAT ideal! Ready for questions.

4. (Q) Have the treatments that Dr. Baird has been giving been of any benefit and should the present treatment under Dr. Stone be followed? (A) As given, follow those under Dr. Stone [Elise Stone, N.D.]. The least we say about the benefits in the other the better it will be!

5. (Q) Has there been any improvement in the body-physical since the last reading? (A) Been improvement, though there has been an accentuation as for the heart’s action and as for the kidney disorder; but with the proper treatments now, following along the line as has been outlined, we will find the condition physical and mental showing improvement.

6. (Q) Are the eyes any better and should glasses be worn? (A) Not yet would we use the glasses, until there is at least the corrections in the manipulations and in the applications; though it would be well that the eyes be fitted for glasses, used in studying or at night only.

7. (Q) Is the bladder trouble any better? (A) There’s been more irritation! That’s from the improper corrections being made in those dorsal regions, as has been indicated.

8. (Q) What condition is the heart in? (A) These actions, or over activities, are from the nerve system, and not from the organ itself. It is of a reflex nature, not organic. Neither does it pertain to any of the valvular force, or anything pertaining to the aorta artery or to the carotid either.

9. (Q) Please explain what is meant by tendency on the part of the body to change the name some? (A) Tendency to feel that under, or had there been other name, things would be different - or the body would like to have itself CALLED by other names - see?

10. (Q) Would this be well to do? (A) Look at the astrological aspects and it will see!

11. (Q) Are the subjects taken this year in school the proper ones? (A) If they will follow the outline as has been indicated here! First know self, in self, what is self’s ideal, whether it is some individual-physical or some spiritual application of self! Know that the body mentally and the body physically is thine own, see? Have body mentally AND physically do that IT desires! If the studies, or those subjects taken, do not conform to those ideals, leave ‘em off and supplant with those that come nearer to that as needed!

12. We are through for the present.
