This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of January, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [794], new Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by Miss [774].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mildred Davis and L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading 11:25 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. N.Y.C. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [794].

  2. Now, as we find, conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of the body are of long standing. These have arisen from effects of disturbances in other portions of the system that have gradually builded or brought about that which exists between the flow of the blood from the lungs to the heart and from the heart to the liver, and from the liver to the heart. This engorgement is the result of a very deep circulation being disturbed by poisons and accumulations in the system, and an engorgement in the transverse and descending colon - which made for pressures in the area that, with this use of sedatives of the nature that allay pain and increase the circulatory system as related to that indicated, have gradually brought this valvular or thrombosis condition in the system.

  3. With conditions having become more of a constitutional nature than functional, and organs becoming involved so as to make for an adjustment of the organ’s activity involved so as to make for an adjustment of the organ’s activity or the organ itself to these conditions, we find that there may be only an alleviation and not an entire removal; save by a natural growth or readjustment that would come to the normal adjustment of the physical forces of the body to new or rearranged conditions in the physical body.

  4. Then, we would find it necessary in the present to keep about the body those necessary forces or influences that will overcome these conditions - and the numbness and dullness, and the conditions of smothering that occur at times.

  5. But we would begin with the removal more and more of those pressures in the colon area. Such irrigations should be given only in an ORDERLY manner; that is, do not attempt to relieve the WHOLE condition at once, but gradually remove the mucous and these tendencies for the engorgement in the curve or turn at the transverse or descending colon area. So these would be given about two or three each month, but GRADUALLY increase the height to which the colonic activity would be used for the system.

  6. Also gradually - not severely, but gradually - adjust those segmentations in the upper dorsal and throughout the cervical area, that indicate subluxations and some exaggerations; some in curve and some in posterior and some are anterior through the area. If these are GRADUALLY adjusted we would find we would bring an EASING of the conditions. And if the general physical health maintains a normalcy for a period that would allow the conditions to gradually change, the greater improvement may be noted. These adjustments also would lengthen the periods when there may be the activities of the body, and bring a helpfulness for those things that disturb in the various portions there is the swelling or the numbness - or the portions where where the disturbed circulations make for such disorders. Such adjustments, as we find, should be made at least three times each week. We would SUGGEST those combinations or activities with the lights, and we would use the services of Coombs.

  7. Ready for questions.

  8. (Q) Is is true and I have been told - (A) (Interrupting) As indicated, unless the causes are reached and there may be a GROWTH OF the body-changes - it CANNOT be removed; that is, the thrombosis.

Do as we have indicated and, as we find, we would make the better reactions for this body.

  1. We are through for the present.
