This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 31st day of August, 1938, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [845], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will give the present physical condition of this body, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions that may be asked:

2. EC: Yes - we have the body here.

3. As we find, there has not been the adherence to those suggestions which have been indicated for the body.

4. There are the needs for some SPECIFIC adjustments in the present, owing to specific or acute conditions caused by muscular and tendon strain - due to muscular contractions from outside injury. These are necessary.

5. But IF there had been the adjustments made as formerly indicated for the body through this channel, there would NOT now be the anxiety and the necessary upsetting that comes to the body through periods of nerve exhaustion, overanxiety - which arises from the changes being wrought in the activity of the glandular forces of the body.

6. Hence as we find, there should be at least a series of osteopathic adjustments with particular reference - in the beginning - to the hips and their association with the lumbar axis, and the shoulders and their associations through the upper dorsal centers.

7. A little later, or after at least six adjustments, there should be more particular attention to the 9th dorsal plexus - and the vagus center and head and neck. These are not to be left out or not considered when the first adjustments are given, but not so MUCH attention to these areas until those in the lumbar and in the upper dorsals are in alignment.

8. Use the Radio-Active Appliance as an equalizer for the nerve system; at least three times each week. Alternate the attachments in the regular manner; that is:

9. 1st treatment - the anode marked to be ALWAYS attached first should be attached to the right wrist, the other anode (or plate from same) to the left ankle.

10. 2nd treatment - make the first attachment to the left wrist, the last to the right ankle.

11. 3rd treatment - attach first to the left ankle, last to the right wrist.

12. 4th treatment - make first attachment to the right ankle, last to the left wrist.

13. Thus a circle of the body will have been made in the attachments; the first attached becoming the positive, the last the negative. Then commence over again. Use for thirty minutes to an hour, when resting - or just before retiring - at least three times each week.

14. This will act as an equalizer for the nerve system.

15. Do that.

17. (Q) Should the diathermy treatments be taken now also? (A) No diathermy at the present.

18. (Q) Would Dr. Hudgins be recommended to give the osteopathic adjustments? (A) If he will do them this way!

19. (Q) Any damage done by the accident? (A) As indicated, muscular and tendon strain.

20. (Q) Is body approaching menopause? (A) Not so far distant.

21. (Q) Is the body any better now physically than at the time the original physical reading was given? (A) Had the body DONE what was suggested, it might have been a great DEAL better! In some respects, yes; in other respects, none too good!

22. (Q) Why does standing for even a short while cause the veins in the left leg to become prominent? (A) Owing to the variation in the length, and the natural pressure that is made across the pelvic bone - or the saddle.

23. (Q) Will the adjustments correct this extreme nervousness? (A) As combined with the equalizer (Radio-Active vibrations), they should.

Do these things, and we will find the better forces for this body.
