This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 23rd day of May, 1936, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [849], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 3:15 to 3:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Body and enquiring mind, who seeks advice and counsel as to the advisability of making a trip around the world by air on regular scheduled passenger flights with the view of preparing an article for his magazine. You will consider all the conditions surrounding such a trip and give such information as will be most helpful to him at this time. Answer questions.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [849]; this we have had before.

2. In considering such an undertaking, many conditions are to be considered.

3. First such a trip would be well from the angle of articles for a magazine; not only for the one promoting same but there would be considerations given by publications that adhere more to such travel - those not only of the own country but those that would be touched, or where changes would be made.

4. It necessitates, to be sure, that arrangements be made for not only the entrance into other countries, as the passports, etc., but for the consideration from the varied representatives of the own country or land in other lands.

5. But as we find for the body, [849], this would be safe at the time or when such arrangements may be completed.

6. West, to be sure, would be the manner, and then the dirigible from Europe TO AMERICA - rather than plane.

7. The varied conditions to be considered would be the season, the times, and those conditions that go to make up the proper considerations for not only articles but reports upon the various manners in which the countries touched are HANDLING and CONSIDERING the fact that there is the entrance already into that of air travel throughout.

8. Make the preparations then for the latter portions of July.

9. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) Then, you would say that I should make this trip? (A) By all means!

11. (Q) What should I guard against most on such a trip? (A) That all the associations, all the connections ar completed or made before leaving; in not only the passing over but passing through. No SPECIAL thing to guard against, but be rather inclusive in all the manners, the customs in all the various points touched.

12. (Q) Any spiritual advice which may be needed at this time? (A) Not as an air of laudation but as of service; the opportunities for giving of self in service that there may be the proper consideration given others in their experiences.

13. (Q) What may be given me at this time relative to the future of aviation as may be presented from my point of view base on this trip? (A) This will be as the beginnings of the inaugurations of regular trips that ARE to become more and more safe in the travels as the developments are continued.

There must be serious consideration for a landing or a change in the Atlantic, as the Pacific already OFFERS that of regular manner.

14. (Q) Any other advice that may be given me at this time? (A) This would, to be sure, depend upon much consideration being given all of those points that have been indicated.

As we have given, more and more are the aerial or the air ways to become the use of man - or man’s intervention more and more into same.

15. We are through for the present.
