EC: In the life experience of the entity [849], we find - soon - those needs for the use of those means or sources of help to the disabled or afflicted portions of the body, as we have indicated would be necessary within the ten days to two weeks.

We would prepare a solution to be used as compresses upon the joints, the tendons, and especially across those areas where ligaments and tissue are atrophied, as it were, in the present.

Prepare the solution in the manner indicated here, and use just before there is to be the MECHANICAL manipulations osteopathically to loosen and enliven those areas indicated. Use it in compresses, hot, upon the areas; covering, until the period for the manipulations, with dry cloths over heavy toweling or the like, so as to produce a deep sweat.

To 5 gallons of water, add - in the order named, and dissolving each ingredient thoroughly before adding the next:
Sodium Bicarbonate…2 pounds, Tartaric Acid…1 ounce, Potassium Bitartrate…1/2 ounce, Sodium Chloride Iodized (which means Iodized Salt)…1 ounce, Sodium Phosphate…1 ounce, Sodium Sulphate…1 ounce.
Heat about a quart to half a gallon of the solution when it is to be used, or sufficient quantity to cover the areas desired to be treated at any special period.
