This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 15th day of July, 1930, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [849].

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. [849].]

Time of Reading 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [849] - this we have had before. In many ways the physical forces of the body show improvement from that as we have had before, and while there are conditions as cause some disturbance at times in the physical force, we would correct first that proper equilibrium for the blood supply, or would make for a better condition in the blood supply.

  2. In this, then, we would give as this for the cleansing of the system, and for the correction of these forces. Prepare as this. First make as a carrier, this:

  3. To 8 ounces of distilled water add 2 1/2 ounces wild cherry bark. Reduce to 1/3 the quantity, or to 6 ounces. Then add 2 ounces of simple syrup and reduce again to 4 ounces. Then add pure grain alcohol 1/2 ounce,

Compound Syrup of Sarsaparilla…1/2 ounce, Tincture of Stillingia…1/4 ounce, Elixir Calisaya…1/2 ounce, Syrup of Rhubarb…1/4 ounce, Tincture of Capsici…2 minims.

  1. Shake the solution together before the dosage is taken. Take half a teaspoonful before each meal and before retiring.

  2. By the time this whole property is taken, provided the eliminations are kept through the alimentary canal, and the diet is not too much of meat, but more of the vegetable forces, adding those of a great deal of the citrous fruit, especially for the breakfast meal, we will find the blood CLEANSED, and much of that disorder as gives rise to the soft tissue in the head, nasal cavities, and the stomach, or that as is of a catarrhal nature, will be relieved.

  3. We will find then we may give those for OTHER corrections.

  4. Ready for questions.

  5. (Q) Should tonsils be removed? (A) Not under the present conditions. They may be made NECESSARY, after we have cleansed the blood. It would be very improper to remove them UNDER existent conditions.

  6. That is all the questions regarding this body.

  7. We are through with this reading.
