This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the David E. Kahn home, 20 Woods Lane, Scarsdale, N.Y., this 5th day of November, 1937, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [877], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 11:30 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before, [877].

2. As we find, there is an acute condition of neuritic reaction; though the body is some what improved from that it has had as disturbing factors.

3. The evacuation of the colon THOROUGHLY, as we find, would bring the quicker, the better effects.

4. Upon those areas in the shoulder and arm, apply locally a combination of four parts Laudanum to one part Aconite. Paint the area with this solution. Then apply hot applications of heavy salt.

5. Such applications, following the evacuation of the colon, should soon make for the better reactions.

6. Sedatives - the acedin (?) [acetyl, acetylsalicylic acid?] salicylate, or even the Aspirin which is a portion of same - producing an alkalinity - will be helpful.

7. To be sure, the foods should be liquids and semi-liquids; but not too much - for this body, at the present - of fruit juices. Rather use the vegetable juices AND soups or broths or beef juice or the like.

8. This should relieve very, very soon.

9. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) What brought about this condition? (A) An acute condition from mental attitude and a clogging from cold and congestion, in the colon.

It has been a source of the infectious forces that have been as muscular pains through the body, but this became acute from a mental AND a cold reaction.

I would like very much to have you give me a check physical reading at your early convenience. I am feeling quite fit, but think that it would be wise to get fresh information to keep me so. In that reading I would like to get information as to how to correct the dry skin formation which still appears on my ears and occasionally elsewhere; and I would also like to know if there is anything I can do to improve the condition of my eyes, with the idea of eventually being able to do away with my spectacles.
